    Angry Launcher error

    i just got a 10 day guest pass for D&D and installed and downloaded the updated without any problems, but when i go to run the game a window comes up straight away saying:


    Launcher Error

    System.IO.IOException: source and destination path must have identical roots. Move will not work across volumes.
    at systwm.IO.Directory.Move(string sourceDirName, String destDirName)
    at com.Turbine.Launcher.Main()


    can anyone help me?

    your firewall allowing DDOclient.exe and DDOLauncher.exe?

    RE-install .net 1.1 and like the previous poster said make sure your firewall has the exceptions for dndclient.exe and dndlauncher.exe.

    If you are using vista try turning off UAC (User access Control)

    Default Resourse String Not Found

    found out how to fix it, but now i got a new problem. same thing, but now it sez resorse string for token "status.OpeningMainForm" could not be found, then about 30-40 lines of stuff like"


    at System.Environment.GetStackTrance(Exception e)
    at System.Environment.GetStackTrance(Exception e)
    at System.Environment.get_StackTrance()
    At com.turbine.launcher.Launcher.GetResxSting(String token)

    and so on. any idea?
