Default Dragon Mark of shadow and Rangers??

I have a 14th level Elf two weapon fighting Ranger and was looking for ways to improve her survivability and noticed that one of the things with the Dragonmark of Shadow is Displacement. As I understand this, I would have to be a Elf of course and take the Least Dragonmark of Shadow feat and the Lesser Dragonmark of Shadow feat in order to use the Displacement effect. When used the Displacement would last almost a minute and a half at 14th level and can be cast two times a day unless I use AP's to buy up to four more times per day for a total of six uses per day. Also if I did take the Greater Dragonmark of Shadow I would be able to use the Displacement even one more time (total of 7 uses) plus I pick up the Shadow Wald effect.

First off is this all correct in practice??

Also, is there a cooldown timer to use the marks and if so how long is it? I'm also wondering how Shadow Walk works. The descriptions says "allows you to move faster and makes you harder to hit but ends if you interact with objects or attack.". Does casting a spell on yourself or going into sneak mode break the effect?? Also how much faster does it let you move and how much harder are you to be hit? My thinking here is could Shadow Walk allow a player to leave an area if he's the last man standing after a party wipe so she could eventually return out of Shadow Walk to rez party members.

And lastly, anyone who has tried these feats can you comment on weather you thought they were worth the cost and please comment on anything I may not have asked about the Shadow Dragonmarks but should know.

    I thank you in advance.

    I'll answer what I can 100% sure.

Yes, the Displacement will last ~1.5mins (at level 14).

The cooldown is not long (about like a spell casting cooldown).

Yes, you get 2 uses to start, and up to 4 more via enhancements.

Those are all I am 100% sure on.

Default One thing to think about

Extend works for dragonmarks. So you can get around 15-17 minutes I believe with extend feat. I am looking at doing the same thing on my ranger that is 14th lvl also or remaking a low lvl version that has a lvl of rogue.

This thread gave me the idea, and thanks to the boring Saturday at work, my next character is listed here http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=121228 I went 12 Ranger/1 Rogue/1 Wiz, so I could get Extend for free, and some more SPs for Barkskin, my Displacement will go for ~15mins between each shrine, the 2 min Shields will be pure bonus.

I went the Str route and plan on dual wielding longswords with the Elf enhancements. Looks pretty good on paper, I plan to start it tonight.

Note: I do include a few tomes, but except for the Int tome none are necessary (even the Int tome could be left out, just subtract 1 skill).
