Default stunning blow and power attack?

If the stunning blow DC is based off of Str. then does the Stunning blow str. mod go up by 1.5 when power attack is on.

I have both but am not at home to check, if anyone knows for sure or could check it out, that would be great.

    Thanks

power attack is an increase to damage. It doesn't increase your str.

    Default I wish.

I wish they would give us a bonus to trip/stunning blow when we go two-handed. If you get to add 1.5 STR to damage, you should get to add that to the feat DC as well...

Well the justification for 1.5x str damage two handed is that if your going two weapon you get 1x str on first and .5x str on the secondary. It makes sense then to get 1.5x on the two handed for damage.

You do not get 1.5x your str bonus to hit two handed.

When you trip it really has little to do with what weapon your using. Your using your body to try and trip somebody, in fact in PnP its you give up an attack to make an unarmed trip attempt so your weapon isn't even considered. In DDO they just simplified it to be part of an attack. In fact it would make sense at least in a one hand and sheild situation that you should be able to trip just as well or even better than two handed as you could push with the shield or whatnot.

Basically it boils down to. The 1.5x STR for two handed weapons is ONLY applied to the damage the weapon causes, it does NOT apply to anything else, it doesn't give you 1.5 x your modifier for anything other than damage when using that two hander. You don't get to use it for grapple checks (not in DDO) or Jump. Jump is a STR based skill yet we wouldn't say you should get 1.5 x STR mod to your jump skill for using a greataxe would we?

What if we used the greataxe like a pole vault?

well they gave the mobs an AOE trip which does not need to hit you to force you to save vs trip....
