Great podcast!

One thing I am disappointed that you didn't mention with regard to Waterworks and STK is that they are the start of what I consider to be the "core" storyline of the game that stretches from level 3 content through to level 28.

I enjoy the idea of the narratives in the game, even as I run content mainly for character progression reasons these days.

It is a neat little quest i do agree, its just really low on the list for optimized leveling...

Totally skip-able, but I love the DM narration and the fiesty binder lady wanting to mix it up with the baddies. I like to pretend I'm a lawful good ninja and sneak in from the top and take the house by surprise and get the hostages out safe. And I like to get all the traps. Then I pretend not to accept any reward and I tell the Binder outside that I just wanted to help. However I still take the end reward, because I like favor for my guild. All and all I really enjoy the Sharn Syndicate story arc and this is my favorite quest in the series.

There are 2 moar quests in-game where I totally enjoy the DM narration like this as well; Study in Sabel and Memoirs of an Illusory Larcener. I'll PUG those anytime.

A Cry for Help has GOT to be one of the best quests for the DM voice. It's so bad that it's great!

I was surprised how dismissive the group was of the 3BC quests. I am fairly casual, but trying to improve my TR efficiency - for my last life (2nd on this particular toon), I wrote down all quests I did , the difficulty, time to complete, if I was solo (almost always solo), and the EXP awarded. For me, with a greater tome of learning, but no XP pots, usually running on H solo, I was typically earning around 500 XP per minute.

However, almost all the 3BC quests were much better, several over 1k EXP / minute - even when I repeated the quests, the EXP / min was better than what I got running most quests for the first time.

So, I know in general I have much to learn to improve my TR/leveling efficiency, but I went into this 3rd life (started this past weekend) thinking the 3BC quests were all must-do's, and was shocked the DDO group didn't seem to agree.

Love the guides, though - looking forward to the next one!
thanks
