Nice video. I like that it's quick and to the point.

I have to disagree with you on your selection of Glorious Dawn. Unless the devs ever fix the bugged guard effects this item isn't worth a slot. I can put deathblock on a minimum level 12 blue augment, so the only thing Glorious Dawn gives you is a 1D6 guard effect and a green slot.

In case you or others are not aware, the scaling for all guard effects are currently broken and have been since the introduction of the current random loot system. Until they fix this long standing bug guard effects will only cause 1D6 damage despite what their description states.

Cocomajobo aknowledged this in a post July 2016. (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/477095-Legendary-Bracers-of-Sun-and-Moon-not-working?p=5848204&viewfull=1#post5848204):

We are aware of this issue with Guard effects. The damage dealt should be scaling based on the under the hood power values of the item but currently are instead always outputting the base amount (despite the tooltip of the effects displaying what should be the correct damage values). I'll and let you know when we have any updates on resolving it.

and from January 2017:

It has not yet been resolved, no.

Thinking more about it, your other two items are in my opinion swap items. I'm not going to wear the Boots of Propulsion or the Bauble full time. I swap them in, activate their effects and then swap back to my other gear.

For boots I prefer the Rock Boots (http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Rock_Boots)from the Cannith Challenges. They give immunity to slippery surfaces and two very good guard effects, flesh to stone and earthgrab.

In the trinket slot I like the Treasure Hunter's Spyglass (http://ddowiki.com/page/Treasure_Hunter%27s_Spyglass) from the Crystal Cove for bonuses to Spot, Search, UMD and True Seeing. Alternatively (and much harder to get) I'd say the Litany of the Dead. (http://ddowiki.com/page/Litany_of_the_Dead_(item))

As far as Litany goes, I tried to keep Raid items out, especially if flagging was involved. Not everybody flags for everything, and some things are seriously hard to get, reducing their utility to me. These vids were about utility, and I think I use the Bauble and Boots on almost every toon as a swap item. There are very few named items any more that I wear all the time, and most of those are armours, which I will cover in a later video.

Thanks for taking the time to state your perspective, though, I'm sure there are others that feel the same way. This is just my opinion, man, and I've always liked "quirky".

Why else would I associate with being a Bard?
