I've been thinking about this since today. We all know that Korthos Island is the actual starter area in Ebberon right? Well I've just had lightning strike my brain. Eveningstar Village could be treated like the Korthos Island Starter Area, maybe for Iconics and possibly anything else set to start at level 15 or better yet at epic level (except Bladeforged of course). So there could be a travelling caravan or something that will take players to the Famed City of Baulder's Gate. Because that's also in Corymr right? If that happens, we can both have Ebberon's City of Stormreach and the Forgotten Realms's City of Baulder's Gate. Now that's one hell of an idea for the Dev Team to consider isn't it?

p.s. I may have spelled Baulder's Gate wrong, I'm terrible at spelling. But you know what I mean.

They said when MotU came out THEY'RE NOT ALLOWED!

They're not allowed anywhere near The Sword Coast!
They're not allowed in Waterdeep!
They're not allowed in Baldur's Gate!
They're not allowed in Icewind Dale!

That's all Neverwinter's Purview and DDO isn't anywhere near it!

No need to get all worked up about it, okay I understand that. I just don't remember that time when they said it, my memory's very short.

You, sir, just made my entire week. Best post ever.

And yes, DDO doesn't have the permission from WoTC to go to Baldur's Gate. I believe they have exclusive rights on Eberron content and some stuff in the forgotten realms like Cormyr, Anauroch, Cormanthor, the Stormhorns, etc.

This should help a bit, as the D&D games are divided into sections, pretty much.

Actually, even the Eberron stuff is pretty scanty--it's why we're in Xen'drik instead of any of the parts of the setting that are actually detailed. This is basically the equivalent of doing an FR campaign that is set entirely in Maztica.

It's actually kind of interesting to be in a fantasy setting that is largely set in the jungle/tropics instead of Ye Olde Quasi-Medieval Sort-of England.

Well, up until they brought in Eveningstar anyway XD

I used to think that Fran wrote the DDO Chronicle...

but then I realized there weren't quite enough exclamation points.
