I have had this bladeforged 18 sorc/2 pally build on his second life. The first life was sorc was well. I ate a +2 con tome and +4 cha tome. My gear is kind of crappy, but I am willing to work on that. I am also willing to TR into sorc again or some sort of warlock. I am fine in EH, but in EE I feel pretty useless. What can I do to up my power level?

Erm, perhaps providing more info would help. Exactly how do you feel you're underperforming/trying to do and failing? DC-cast, nuke? Dying too much?

18/2 is still a totally viable EE Sorc split; popular for Shiradi casters, who typically don't depend on DCs. Example build here (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/423364-U19-shiradi-WF-sorc-build-primer-more-powerfuller-than-ever).

As stated you have a very solid base to work with.

The question is, which destiny are you working on? If you are still working out EDs then I recommend charting a fast path to Shiradi Champion. Ten epic levels will give you time to make your way to the Primal Sphere.

You only need to get 6 million karma if you plan to do an ER before you do an Iconic Reincarnation (need to return to 30). I have guild mates that try to do 2 to 3 ERs before they IR/TR but your milage might vary depending on your style.

^ this.

there is a world of difference between a toon with no or little maxed destinies and one that has all of them.

Thank you for the reply. I feel like a mixture of both. My DC for lightning stuff is 41. My HP is at 377. I am only level 21, and I am working towards draconic line right now. A lot of EE stuff save way too much for it to be viable.

I am working on Draconic first, then will fast track to shiradi. Thank you for the input.

This build is a bit more recent than the one posted by Thalone and it has more recent updates. Could be useful to look at:

Airforged 18 SOR/2 PAL (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/461314-AirForged-the-last-Firebender-%28BF-Sorc-18-2-Pal%29-U25)

I started with an 18 so I could put a few points into the INT for some skills I needed. The item I have ATM is a +7 con docent. I sit at a 31 with ship buffs

False life item?
Toughness item?

You can get a +8 con item at level 15, maybe look for a better one. You should be able to get a +10 items for level 21

Can also get a +2 insightful con item pretty easily http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Purple_Dragon_Gauntlets

There is a few things you need to iron out first.

First Lets Look at your HP.

18 Base
07 Enchantment item
---
25 Constitution

As others pointed out you need to start looking at Insightful Bonus as well as Exceptional bonus. The Twelve has a turn in of 20 Tokens for some clear augments that will help you out.

Next, look for Vitality and False life.

----------------------------------
Now your DCs 41

This first starts with your Charisma Modifier.

Build up your Charisma again look for the highest Enchantment you can get, It is possible to get up to +10 at your current level but you are more likely to find a +8. Next is the Insightful and Exceptional bonus

Then don't stop there look for the Spell School and the Insightful bonus. Going with lightning part of the issue is these spells are Reflex - Use those against Evasion type mobs and you will be disappointed as there will be zero damage when they save. Look for alternate spells that don't have DCs so you can supplement when your spells don't land. Also, look to what you can effect - Target Casters and Melee types.

Next is Spell Power. If you are going to focus on a specific element make sure you are gearing with spell power and lore.

You could do this in EE groups until destinies are more filled out:

1 Twist imperceptible spellcasting from magister and use it at the start of every fight.
2 Start fights invis for a few seconds so others take aggro
3 Only cast negative level spells and PW:Stun

Thank you. Could you help me out with a gear list? I am not very good at compiling and organizing those things. I have no problem grinding the items. Just assume I have **** gear, haha. Again, thank you so much.

There are 4 new items from the latest update that are great for a arcane shiradi forged at level 28.

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legendary_Earthen_Mantle

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legendary_Empowered_Dragonscale

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legendary_Heartwood This docent alone with plain old composite body will give you 77 prr and mrr could be more if you pull a mythic one.

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legendary_Pansophic_Circlet

Also at level 28 I like, http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Epic_Lion%27s_Mane

Some good choices on your way there are,

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Livewood_Core_(Level_22

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Guardian%27s_Girdle_(Level_15)

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Blue_Dragonscale_Docent

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Iron_Mitts

http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Rod_of_Mythant

Many of the above items in their heroic version can be worn till you are lvl 28 and have the epic version. Good luck!

Random loot gen for goggles bracers boots and rings to provide cha, spell lore, spell craft, repair amp, repair skill and saving throws ideally.
