Disclaimer: this is not the best build around nowdays. A warlock or a shiradi spammer (for ex. 13/4/3 wiz/fvs/wlk) can achieve better DPS than this build and a wiz (Necro/ench/illusion DC) could have better DC and spell penetration.

This is a very usual evoker build, focused on Evocation DC and Light/Force spellpower for direct damage.

I write this up mostly for a self reference, but I know there is a lot of space for improvements, so I post it here to gather good suggestions and criticisms (they're both appreciated if they can made the build better).

But let's see what the build can do:

- Workable evocation DC (around 90 evo DC) for Implosion, BB, Sun Bolt (2 free SLA, 1 from Deep Gnome Capstone, 1 from EA), Soundburst. This will probably land on any old EE and in few new EE.
- Very nice single target DPS (usually a weak point of this kind of builds): over 1000 Spell power (Force/Light) for: Divine Punishment, Ruin, Great Ruin, Arcane Bolt, 2 Sun Bolt SLA
- AoE damage: Blade Barrier, Divine Wrath (a bit poor on this field)
- Some sort of CC (not LE-able): Soundburst (both spell and SLA from Exalted Angel) -> Evocation based, Cometfall (Conj), Greater Command (Ench)
- Istant Kill: mainly Implosion (sustainable 90 evo DC), Slay Living + Destruction (those will work on mostly every EE before U28). It can use Energy Drain to make land IK more steadily
- Naturally capable of healing: Heal, Mass cure crit, Mass heal (a bit useless nowday). Plus quickened Resurrection and True Resurrection (the new healing Spells for LE :P)
- Over 1000 HP and 4000 SP. Good defense with Wings and good (but not amazing) PRR and MRR.

What should I take between Intensify Spell and WoP?
- Intensify make the 2 sun bolt SLA always stronger wihout additional cost
- WoP make all spells stronger (and add crit) but for a shorter time

I think I going more trough WoP I am still undecided...I wish I can ear some suggestion to help me out..

It sounds like you're using a lot of SLAs - I think you'll get more bang for your buck with Intensify since they both give spell points. WoP is great for burst but Intensify will likely save you a bunch of spell points by making your SLA's more powerful.

Embolden and Intensify Spell both have level 24 minimum level requirement. Ruin has ml 27 requirement. Greater Ruin has ml 30 requirement.

Therefore you can't take embolden, intensify, ruin, and greater ruin.

You have to pick between embolden and intensify, and you have to pick an available ml 21 feat (I suggest wellspring).

Also, if you intend to run end game content on this character (as a DC caster not a sla/light spammer) I highly suggest you get your spell pen up to 59 at the bare minimum. This will let you bypass the spell pen on pretty much all mobs except LE TS drow and LE shroud gnolls. (the 54 listed in your OP will result in 25% blue shield rate on orthons/devils - and then they'll have a chance to save with their strongest save).

thanks for the tip..so I have to choose:
- +8 SP (from SP,GSP,ESP) instead of + 2 DC (dropping PL wiz and sf:evo) and great ruin

I think I'll try to.figure out myself both version (doing an ETR) which one fit better my playstyle

Or, you could keep Great Ruin and exchange Wellspring for ESP at lvl 21. I'm planning a similar build and still considering my options with Spell Penetrators.

Also, in the DC breakdown, you might have missed Exalted Angel's Transcendental Magic core, which grants +3 to all spell DCs.

Updated the build with 2 item from U31: Legendary Earthen Mantle + Legendary Pansophic Circlet: they net me +2 evo DC and more spell power! Happy FvS :)
I am also reserved 3 slots for item incoming with U32 for the nice 3 set bonus (+5 Artifact bonus to Spell Power; +2 Artifact bonus to Spell Focus Mastery) covering also most the effects I am wearing with random generated loot.
Also the build works very well in any LE quests so far.

Note that, unless one is using likely-unintended "work-arounds", you have to have Spell Focus Evocation in order to have Evocation Specialist or Precise Evocation.

In that case I have the Epic Destiny (Magister) already set by the previous life, most likely-unintended, but they work that way by the time ED firstly come out.

I am curious to know your in game spell power for Light and Force. Your original post includes feats I didn't see in your build listing so it makes it hard to compare the light SPP

What does your Sun Bolt do damage wise? I don't have LGS set on my FVS so I am looking to compare to my numbers

What is the play style like? Ruin and implode with a sprinkling of Destruction and SLA?

What is the play style like? Ruin and implode with a sprinkling of Destruction and SLA?

-For pack of mobs soundburst then Hellball+Divine wrath, finish them out with the 2 sunbolt SLA
-For small pack: Implosion and finish them out with Destruction/Slay Living
-For Boss: Arcane Pulse + Divine Punishment + Ruin + 2 SLA + Divine Wrath

That lgs + slavers gear loadout is what I want, but I am worried in the time it will take to get it, the game will just have made other stuff thats better. Cleansing that much GS....

quickest 5 piece slavers set is the named items and one or two crafted items. that should require the least amount of mats.

I know you lose out on wings, and this is half specced for healing, but this way you can heal LE and still nuke SOLELY off SLAs. As you are going Gnome Iconic, you'll have an extra 20 AP to spend in your own racial tree.

you can make cannith googes +15 wis, +7 insight, +3 insight evo dc (or use Leg Brazenband for the +3 insight evo dc)
Bracers are nice you have ... I'm using plain ole Mysterious bracers for MRR and heal amp
I use Leg Boots of Devil Commander for increased PRR.
Belt I crafted +15 con, +7 insightful, +57 false life and slot it with Vitality +20 gem.
