Stooped playing some time ago but there is something i still want form this game which is the music for the amazing quest what goes up.

Tried to search for it but no luck sadly.

Any one knows a link to it if this isn't breaking the rules?

I don't think you can. But I'd buy a soundtrack pack for tp, no doubt.

Download audacity get the plugin to export mp3 files. Set the proper input hit record save and export your own mp3 file. Great program with many useful applications. I'm sure there's a youtube video out there to show you how.

I never play with music, because I tend to get distracted... and experience from most games it that the music gets monotonous real fast and on my nerves. This post made me curious and I listened in on the link posted.

Just - awesome. maybe I should turn music on once in a while...

My favorite music in the game - part of what makes that quest just so much more awesome than anything that has been released in last few years. The music IS the definition of Epic for me. Best cut scene as well.....if I can time it right that is where I cap my characters.

If only I could shut Oriphaun up....but even he isn't that bad - the text is fine its just that nasally tone.

You should come back, the changes weren't THAT crippling. Just required a little shuffling & re-working in some cases to be a viable, functioning build again.

Might have to do with that ghost rank after lvl 5 rank 4.

after ya reach lvl 5 rank 4, ya still got an extra bar you can fill that yield no benefit, I always assumed that was where you get the rounded up 6 mil Karma

I LOVE this music, too. It makes the quest feel so epic. If the quest wasn't so long and annoying I'd run it every day for dailies. That doesn't mean I won't enjoy a good old EE stormhorns chain just to get to this music.

Am I the only one who likes the medusa battle music? The one played in Eyes of Stone or Lost in the Swamp where you fight a medusa.

Great link there steel thanks for that. Wish that all the DDO background music would be available there! Would be great to go through and it would make music selection for DDO podcasters much easier in finding those lesser played tunes. Maybe great work for a Turbine intern!

When I hear the What Goes Up music I feel slightly unsettled as though everything is going to turn purple on me at any moment...

Wow how did I never know about the soundcloud page? Listening to the music now, never really appreciated how good it is. I'm normally too focused on killing stuff. Devs you should put this in the chronicle to get the word out, this is really good music.

Thank you!

Music is an invisible spell which does wonders, but it's never appreciated enough.
Quite often players like some content and can't explain why (that includes movies too, only a lot later I understood the real reason why I like some movies or games).

Btw, Is there a way to listen to the music played at the start of VoD raid (near shrines)?

I'd like to see more battle type of musics in DDO, especially in some special ambushes.
I like Battle type musics with drums used (I'll never forget this example (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-RNoAAT6sk)).

is the music that often plays in the portable hole and the dragon mark quest ( some times other places) that has (or is simaler to ) the organ line from Ozzy Osbourne's "Mr Crowley" some place in this cloud? is my fave music from this game :)

This music is great! I've always wondered who the composers are though - they're really good and they do a great job matching the music to the various quests too. Thanks for the reference to the soundcloud.

The music from 3BC is also great and very thematic.

You are messing too much man.
What goes up music is the one you start hearing to when you open the link.
What goes up is a ****ing epic quest along with hunted halls of evening star.

Even though i don't play anymore but these ****ing quests.....they are sooooo good you can't forget them.

The wildness are also is simply THE BEST....nothing beats down storm horns...maybe necro 4 wildness is also good like it.

Some time back, I came across a bunch of the music on SoundCloud. Knowing it was there, I was able to find it again: https://cnnct.soundcloud.com/stevedgamecomposer. Not knowing it was on SoundCloud, it might have been pretty tough to track down. But there you have it. Enjoy.

Also, some of the older music from the game is available here: https://www.ddo.com/en/content/soundtrack, which can be found by going to the menu at the top of the screen, Media, then Soundtrack in the bottom-right corner.
