Hello:

Could anyone recommend best strategy for getting great light armor? I just entered Epic and with all the crafting choices, etc., I just wondered what I should be aiming for in terms of getting armor that will be up to the challenge. Should I do gianthold armor, dragon scale, something else?

Thanks

might want to include some more information like - level(s); classes; fighting style etc.

10-4 Thanks, don't even know what to say. Ha

So I have a level 20 Ranger that is mostly a tempest build but I like to play with the bow until manyshot runs out then jump in the melee dual wielding.

Level 20: Woods man set is nice and easy.
Level 24: If you can get a black dragon helm and black dragon armor those are very nice.

IF you want to stay at level 28 for longer and not ETR once you reach the cap you can look for a third endgame armor. I like shadow dragon armor and you can trade for missing shards.

I agree that Woodsman set is a good place to start, particularly if you don't have Melee Alacrity slotted yet. At lvl 22/23, I'd go with either Hide of the Goristro or Restored Giantcraft Leather Armor. After that, for endgame I'd go for either Flawless Black Dragonhide or Flawless Shadow Dragonhide (upgraded w/Shadow Killer).
