I've been experimenting with Haprer Agent and Eldritch knight to see what the build could offer.
So far I've decided that there is very little reason to not go warforged to get the repair spells.
I'm also leaning towards two-handed to benefit from Race choice and so I don't have to worry about dexterity.
Curios to see what insights anyone might be able to offer me.

Mainly wondering if multiclassing Rogue/monk isn't a bad idea, or if Human/Halfing can't offer something as a two weapon race.

EK and harper have synergy indeed, and obviously warforged seems the way to go. Note however that any race can self heal in wrath form and benefit from harper agent.

If you go WF int based THF you'll have to attain at least 17 STR anyway, for THF feats.
Remember that you could grab SWF feats instead and go that route, they only require balance skill.

There are a lot of multiclassing choices. You could go 3 bard if SWF, 3 ftr for stance, rogue/monk for evasion, any combination that allows you to have at least 11 wiz for reconstruct.

I don't know if such a build is viable but I'm trying to build it myself, still thinking about the build most fitting my tastes. Don't know if arti is better all in all...

If you want to get a look, this is my take at the build. Barbarian flavoured: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/453448

OK this is the third time i've written this because i'm an idiot and keep closing tab.
Didn't know SWF was thing, haven't been playing for a while
That's probably the way to go.
As far as artificer is concerned, their defensive options are rather lacking unless they can inscribe wizard spells which also removes a lot of the benefit of an artificer over 18/2 wiz/rog split. the last ones being the dog and the runearm. both of which are admittedly pretty nice. I've rolled a few melee artificers beflore but this was long before the harper tree and the eldritch knight tree. Personally I don't want mine to be an artificer simply because I only really play artificers for some reason and I kind of want to change it up a little.

swf only makes sense in swashbuckler stance with 3 bard levels.

more defensively would be 3 pally(probably bladeforged) for stance and saves, and going adamantine plating and some big shield.

I like the option of going 2 rogue and using quarterstaves, you get 15% attack speed and quick strike. I want to try a build with 5 rogue levels and staff mastery, but thats not exactly a wizard build anymore despite 15 wizard levels. Most AP go into acrobat and harper.

To be honest, I wouldnt really make an eldritch knight based build. A Harper wizard is pretty strong, but investing deeply into EK (more than tier2) isnt really worth it imho. Better to put those points into AM, PM, Harper, or the splashed trees.

Then you miss the point.
Although you are correct. a lot of the enhancements seem awkward but I'm thinking that the enhancement tree serves a tank build the best.
I'm thinking about 18 wiz/2 fighter or paladin for the armor and weapon feats depending on whether you want to be defensive or offensive. a lot of the eldritch knight line also help with sword and board so there may be something there for a defensive builld

I went this route with a WF pure wizard , took TWF but I don't know if I want to take it past that. It does a lot of damage and saves a lot of sp, but I think I may take rapid shot instead of ITWF. Yeah you can do a lot of damage, but I think once I hit epic I might want to keep a bit more distance as the Intelligence damage applies to all weapons including bows. Remember you are a wizard. I been tanking lower levels, but I don't think it will be able to handle all the heat in epic. My suggestion...take 2 Ranger for rapid shot and TWF. Good thing about TWF you can have a spell enhancer in one hand and damage dealer in the other if you want to switch out depending on what you plan on casting but to be honest I just been using weapons.

Maybe something like this...I saved 15 AP for the harper tree.

Maybe something like this...

Feat wise, replace Power Attack with Precision.
This allows you to dump STR completely, plus Precision works with ranged attacks and it's better than PA in melee combat.

Quicken is far more useful to a Warforged Wizard than Extend.

You skipped Inscribed Armor. Warforged has a base 5% arcane failure. (edit: nevermind, completely spaced on the fact that it comes with Eldritch enhancements. To that end: Why no body feat? Take at least Mithril for the increased PRR/MRR)

A bunch of points into Warforged racial that would be better spent in PM (3 points gets you a freebie trapped lever puller/initial aggro magnet. 6 gets you undead immunities when you need them... epic soundburst spam sucks.)
or AM (A single point gets you invis at will or magic missile. both very useful)

Never dump STR completely unless you enjoy being rendered helpless by a single symbol of Weakness, though Precision is arguably much better in that build than Power Attack

A couple of general comments:

DPS-wise EK is a fairly weak PrE; its real strength is its defensive buffs, esp. Arcane Barrier. Perma-Tensers and the other T5s aren't worth it.
I'm not fond of "Eldritch Archer" builds, because you have to invest a lot of feats & APs for a mediocre burst ranged DPS option. It's doable, but outside of Shiradi, there's not many synergies; and even there most of the time you're better off just spamming your SLAs instead.

I have one of these that I tr'd into. I'm still on the fence. I went the Bladeforged route with Greatswords. I have chosen to invest a lot into enchantment and my CC is actually pretty good. I ran the new heart of Madness quests elite with my 16/1 Wiz/Pally (Pally level because I didn't want to spend for and LR) and mass hold was landing about 90% of the time.

Symbol and Stunning and Disco Ball work well too. So the good CC makes up for the lack of good DPS.
