View Full Version : Adrenaline changes (u 24)

Right now the % damage applies to all arrows, but the critical thing applies only to 1rst arrow. Subject to change.

Adrenaline is kill, no longer procs on repeater shots, only 1rst shot.

This cuts down my (max) damage to about 1/6th of what it was before., or 1/3rd of normal damage chance.

So what is the next best thing? Blitz(+70 ranged power) or Crusader(+10, ~+50(consonantly falling) melee+dobleshot)?

I wish divine crusader stacks actually worked, and didn't cause so much lag tho.


Did some divine crusader, turns out that 300 healing every 2 seconds is not enough to off set Epic hard Champion damage, if there is more than one of them. The burst is just not enough to kill them.( I do lack some damage on the character).

Well this sucks. Gonna try out masters blitz tomorrow. If that does not work its probably TR time. I knew I should not made archery based character. Turbine always ruins my builds.

Latest update fixed this! Its working again!

still applies to all 4 arrows of a single volley of manyshot, or 2-3-4 arrows of a single volley of 10K stars (depending on your wisdom and a dash of luck)

alternatively... i notice it *seems* that my max crits are a bit smaller than they once were. dunno if i just got low rolls last night, or if something was actually different...

as for champion damage... i'll say this... my "jump around like a jackrabbit on crack" skill got a workout! XD

Maybe its because you don't have enough fire power in your equipment to do any number on the champions.

My Suggestion:
Get more powerful Fire/Positive Spell Power items, higher heal amp and a better weapon. Also, are you making sure that the Aura of Purification is set up to deal damage to enemies? That thing ticks 4k damage on mini-bosses with a single stack.

I have, and they don't do squat. I have no clue where you get that 4k damage from, but I have the damage per stack ting, aura on and all the apply stacks when enchantments. I get like 20 to 60 damage on purification ticks(if they happen, lately they just don't tick), and like 90-180 damage on consecrate. Did about the same on my wizard too. What exactly I am superposed to do?

I do lack damage. I am about to give up on making a character that turbine doesn't break in more than one way 2 updates from creation.

LD & DC are my favorite Arti EDs

but, I'm a full timer repeater hybrid I never cast offensively or fire my runearm.

All my gear is focused around more repeater DPS, seeker, on hit effects, sneak attack etc...


I never liked FOTW adrenaline was big bang with little DPS in between bleh. LD & DC give much more sustainable DPS


*still I'll have a test go on adrenaline to see if it can proc on more than 1 bolt in a volley (it never was 100% on every bolt anyways)

I really like dreadnaught on Dubbell O'Seven now. He's WF so self healing isn't a problem. If you're a fleshy though, then I can see where divine crusader would have some advantages.

I'd agree with Oxarhamar about fury of the wild – great burst dps but meh the rest of the time.

I run DC on my BF.

1 rank in Healers friend
3x Paladin PL 15% HAMP
20% item now 40%
30% item now 60%

Love it!

*I'm currently doing Arcane PL in Fatesinger (because, I'm not a caster type) so only using repair spells drop the healers friend for Repair Amp enhancement swap my Hamp items out and move on.

It got fixed/re-broken!

The thing I lack as an artificer, is big burst. That's why I like draconic, and Furry. Crusader is ok too, but the stack ting is lagging, and not doing enough damage(in my opinion) I kill tings faster, than they get to amount off stacks to do real damage. The double shoot is really nice tho.


You can recharge furry, each time you roll 20, and the sense weakness is pretty sweet, when combined with stuns( I use Slavers hand, for nigtshade venom+con drain). Insult is nice too, to reduce the fortification.

While it was broken, I played mostly in shiradi. Nerve venom,+sense weakness +shiradi procs in nice. Also otto's whistler lands surprisingly often. Getting procs is hard, even when IPS-ing a crowd.I checked out fatesinger, Reign is pretty good tier 3 twist 22d20 damage on vorpals. lasts for like 3 minutes, and has 11-ish uses (per destiny change, not shrine) Buggy as all hell taught, but better than Echoes of the Ancestors: Primal: - that stuff doesn't work at all.

But o well furry is working now, time for massive burst damages! Gotta get more dobleshoot for better uber damage chance.

My pure ranger runs in fury most of the time. The bursts with adrenaline and many shot are nice, but when manyshot is on timer I switch to melee and love the 10 second knockdown with adrenaline. Dual wielding gets fury eternal recharging often too. Pin>adrenaline>slayer arrow hits for around 9k.

Yeah not really relivent here as most Artificers built for either casting, ranged or hybrid can not easily swap to TWF and survive long enough to quickly build back up thier Adrenaline charges.
