Hi all!

Two years ago I built a dex-based weapon finesse hafling Favored Soul with a 2 monk splash. It was awesome at lower levels, and now is considerably less awesome. I can barely stand up to epic damage, and soloing is a thing of the past.

She's only a 1st lifer, and while I'm not opposed to getting some past lives on her this is the toon I keep at 28 while Tring my other toons. I'll epic TR into whatever I need too.

I'm looking for suggestions on a melee hand-to-hand build. I have a lot of really nice handwraps, but I guess depending on the build I would be willing to switch weapons. I know that I'm unlikely to be able to solo everything without past lives, but would at least be able to contribute in a party. I have a +20 Lesser Heart of wood, and wouldn't be opposed to a deeper splash if I can still keep the party up.

I have some nice items on her, but would also like some gear suggestions.

Thanks! :)

things to Keep in consideration, dex - build on a mostly divine is some Kind of robbing yourself of a lot of dps ....... reason with Divine Might (Warpriest tree) you can add your chr Bonus to your str; even more important on a 1st life
2nd with just 2 mnk splash your hand-to-Hand isn't that much of a dps ... .i would really reconsider and take the sovereign host deity and stick to Longswords ....
considering that the next question to ask is if your wanna be staying centered or not; if so you will Need Whirling steel strike (which Needs weapon Focus : slashing as preq.)
next question to ask is, what Kind of tomes do you have on your char ?

sample Attribute with +3 tomes :
str : 14
dex : 14
con : 13
int : 11
wis : 8
chr : 16 (when the changes to Divine grace hit anything beyond 13 is not as good as it is now )

also i would add in 2 or 3 lvls of Paladin for Divine Grace .... (you will be a lot better in saves, then you are atm with a dex build .....

so looking at : 15 FvS / 2 Mnk / 3 Pal

Here is an excellent build. I ran one of these and it was pretty stout.

Are you looking for a build you can ED-farm with; or do you plan to pick an ED and stick with it? What tomes have you taken?

I'm picking up a destiny and sticking with it for a while. I have a set of +3 tomes.

Yeah now I know that a dex based build is bad on many levels. XD Yeah I have considered splashing pally - hadn't considered longswords, but I see what you mean about hand-to-hand DPS. Will look at this build for sure! I have +3 tomes on here already as well.

Yeah this is a great build for sure. Would consider it when I TR this toon. :)

Thanks all!
