For some fun I decided to try and build a Deepwood Sniper build based on using throwing weapons. Looking for some feedback/ideas/suggestions on how to maximize this build idea. Thanks in advance!

12 Ranger/5 Rogue/3 Bard


Deepwood Sniper
Tier 1
1 Far Shot You gain +1 Sneak Attack Die. Your Point Blank Shot and Ranged Sneak Attack range is increased by 5 meters for each Deepwood Stalker Core Ability you possess. +10 Positive Spell Power
3 Stealthy +1/+2/+3 Hide and Move silently. Rank 3: You gain +1 additional Sneak Attack Die.
1 Versatile Empathy +4/+8 Positive Spell Power. Your Wild Empathy ability now also pacify Vermin
Tier 2
1 Sneak Attack +1 Sneak Attack Die, +10 positive spell power
3 Faster Sneaking +20%+35%/+50% movement speed while sneaking.
6 Skill Boost Activate to gain a +2/+4/+6 action boost bonus to all skills for 20 seconds.
Tier 3
1 Sniper Shot Ranged Attack: Performs a ranged attack with +2[W], a +4 bonus to-hit, +2 to critical threat range, and +2 to Critical Damage Multiplier. On Damage: The target will become momentarily confused and rendered vulnerable to sneak attacks for four seconds as if affected by the bluff skill. (Cooldown 6 seconds). +10 Positive Spell power
2 Aimed Shot Ranged Attack: Performs a ranged attack with +10 to hit and +1 Critical Damage Multiplier. On Damage: If you are in the Archer's Focus stance and Manyshot is not active, gain three stacks of Archer's Focus. (Cooldown: 10 seconds)
2 Ability Score +1 DEX
Tier 4
1 Sneak Attack +1 Sneak Attack Die, +10 positive spell power
3 Killer When you kill a target, you gain a 5% morale bonus to Doublestrike and Doubleshot for 15 seconds. Weak enemies will not always produce this effect. The Killer buff can stack up to 2/3/4 times.
2 Hunter's Mercy Ranged attack: Deals +3[W] damage. On Sneak attack: If the target is below 20% health, deal 500 damage. Cooldown 15 seconds
2 Leg Shot Ranged Attack: On Damage: Slow your enemy's movement by 50% for 10 seconds. (Cooldown: 10 seconds)
2 Ability Score +1 DEX
Tier 5
2 Heavy Draw Toggle: While Heavy Draw is active, you deal +5 damage but have -5 to attack rolls with archery and thrown attacks. Can be used simultaneously with precision and (improved) precise shot stances
2 Head Shot Ranged Attack: Perform a ranged attack that is automatically considered a critical threat. On vorpal: 500 damage.
2 Improved Archers Focus Your Archer's Focus can now stack up to 25 times instead of 15.

Swashbuckler
Tier 1
1 Confidence Passive: +1% Dodge, +1 Reflex Save, and +1 to the Max Dex Bonus of your Armor per Swashbuckler Core Ability you have.
3 Blow by Blow Make an Ranged attack with +(1/2/3) critical threat range that deals (+1/+2/+3)d6 extra Sonic damage, and reduces your threat with nearby enemies by (100/200/300). This Sonic damage scales with spell power.
1 Tavern Shanties +(1/2/3) Bard Songs
Tier 2
1 Swashbuckling +1% Doublestrike, +1 Weapon Enhancement bonus, +2 Threat range and +1 Critical Multiplier for Throwing Axe
6 Double Shot Boost Activate to gain +10/20/30% Action Boost bonus to Doubleshot for 20 seconds. Usable 5 times per rest.
Tier 3
1 Dashing Scoundrel Passive: While Swashbuckling with nothing in your off hand, you gain +1 Attack Damage per 5 Character levels and 10% Doublestrike/Doubleshot.
6 Resonant Arms +2d6/4d6/6d6 Sonic Damage on critical hits, scaling
2 Ability Score +1 DEX

Assassin
Tier 1
1 Knife in the Darkness You gain proficiency with Kukris. You can also use your Dexterity modifier to hit with Daggers and Kukris
2 Sneak Attack Training Grants +1 Sneak Attack die and +1 to hit when performing sneak attacks.
2 Stealthy +1/+2/+3 Hide and Move Silently
Tier 2
2 Sneak Attack Training Grants +1 Sneak Attack die and +1 to hit when performing sneak attacks.

Halfling
Tier 1
1 Halfling Luck +1 Saves
2 Abililty Score +1 DEX

2 Stealthy +1/+2/+3 Hide and Move Silently. Rank 3: Throw attacks you perform while sneaking deal +1[W] damage.

2 Skillful Thrower You can use your Dexterity modifier for damage with returning thrown weapons.

Shiradi Champion
Tier 1
2 Stay Frosty Shiradi Ranged Stance: (Cooldown 5 seconds) Ranged, thrown attacks, and offensive spells have an extra 7% chance to deal [3d10/3d20] extra cold damage and slow movement speed for [5/10] seconds. [+3/+6] listen and spot. Can be active at the same time as Archer's Focus or Improved Precise Shot Ranged Stances.

Tier 2
2 Pin Ranged or Thrown Attack: (Cooldown [20/15] seconds) enemy takes [+2/+3][w] damage. If enemy is not moving, enemy is pinned in place and helpless for [9/18] seconds. Enemy is slowed if moving. (No saving throw observed for either effect)

Tier 3
3 Whirling Wrist Passive Bonus: Increases your attack speed with thrown weapons by [20%/40%/60%].
2 Otto's Whistler Ranged or Thrown Attack: (Cooldown [20/15] seconds) Deal [+2/+3][w] damage. If enemy is moving, enemy starts dancing for [9/18] seconds. (No saving throw observed)

2 Stand and Deliver Passive Bonus: While standing still you gain +1 competence bonus to ranged damage and +1% spell power every few seconds, up to +10
3 Nerve Venom Passive Bonus: Your ranged and thrown attacks and offensive spells have a [3%/5%/7%] chance to paralyze living creatures for 6 seconds. (No saving throw observed)
Tier 6
2 Rain of Arrows Active Ability: (Cooldown 5 minutes) Every second for 30 seconds each enemy around you has 10% to take 10d100 damage of up to 10 damage types. Cost: 10 Fey Favor.

Twists
1 Technician Passive Bonus: +[2/4/6] to Search, Spot, Disable Device, Open Lock and flanking bonus to attack.
3 Reign Spontaneous Song (expends a song but instant activation): You gain a +[20/40/60] temporary Health. On a vorpal strike, you unleash a thunderclap for [7/9/11]d20 Sonic and [7/9/11]d20 Electrical damage. Procs on melee, ranged, and unarmed attacks. Duration: 180 seconds.
1 Rejuvination Cocoon Active (12 SP activation) (12 sec cooldown) (Empower Heal, Quicken, Enlarge) (SR: no) Protect target ally with a shield of [90/120/150] temporary HP for 9 seconds. Heals 5d6 HP every 2 seconds while the shield persists.

Wouldn't it be better to take tier5 from Swashbuckler instead of Deepwood? (To do that you'd need to drop some levels for more Bard). The top row of Deepwood has always looked very unappealing...

do you have Harper? Know the Angles. (Maybe also another favored enemy if AP allows)

feats are non-optimal. lose skill focuses/nimble fingers. consider picking up some metamagics (extend, empower healing, quicken). Maybe dragonmark if AP allows.

going 12 / 7 / 1 would allow you to pick up (extended) displace and haste. it'll also give you the experimental option of T5 in Swash.

Are you sure your enhancements are legal?
For example, you cannot take versatile empathy without increased empathy, and you cannot take killer without favored accuracy and favored damage.

PBS,Quick Draw,Precision, IC:Thrown,Combat Archery, Overwhelming Critical, Doubleshot
35 APs Swashbuckler (Exploit Weakness, CdG, TtN)
30 APs DWS (Killer, Hunter's Mercy)
Rest split between halfling and Assassin

There are 3 heroic feats to play with; Least DM and metamagics are one option. Or do a different class split like B 11 / rgr 6 / rog 3 and use a feat to take IPS.

Thanks for the feedback! I like a lot of the build that was posted, I'll keep tweaking it a bit. Currently playing around with a level 8 version of this and it is pretty fun, though unsurprisingly underpowered compared to melee builds. I'm sure I'll see a large DPS increase once I get my Nightforge Spike.
