Hello, the Growing Storm tempest enhancement says that "each time you damage an opponent you gain +1 damage for 5 seconds", What does this mean? If I hit a monster then do nothing, does this mean the monster will continue to incur more damage for 5 seconds?

And how does this feat "stack"? Does it mean if I hit the monster 2 times in sucssession, then during the next 5 seconds the monster incurs 10 points of damage during the next 5 seconds?

Thoughts appreciated- dido wiiki didn't male it really clear.

When you hit a monster (while Growing Storm is active), you buff yourself with +1 damage on all attacks for the next few seconds. If you hit again, you get the buff again for total +2 damage, etc, up to a maximum of 10.
