View Full Version : Give Barbarians inherent PRR/MRR

The current Dev threads about barbs don't address one of the most egregious failures of the first armor pass. PRR was introduced. PRR is a percentage reduction of damage. Barbs have armor limits that are supposed to be offset by their DR. Add PRR and MRR to the Barb's DR at a 10/1 ratio. This will make barb damage reduction relevant.

If this is implemented, I see no reason for any heal amp in barb trees. Heal amp is not a barb feature, resistance to damage is. Barbs will always require healers and be a niche class. When I played a barb, my 10/20/30 HA gear allowed a maxxed out cleric to heal me for 2k. That's enough.

barbs do not have any armor limitations, seeing as they gain heavy armor prof with their natural fighter level.

Would make a lot more sense than giving them vampiric touch with all weapons
