Anyone did the math on this? I expect Winter wolf with 1d10 17-20 Crit x3 (imp. crit) with +30% attack speed. 18% double strike plus wolf form special attacks to come ahead of 2 lvls of Monk splash's 1d6 19-20 Crit x3, with 80% Offhand strikes.

Note: Wolf form vs No shape shift

I'd be surprised if handwraps didn't win, it has too many things going for it. Full strength offhand strikes, more attacks which mean more weapon effects and some weapon dice scaling from dance of flowers and reinforced fist item. Epic levels that monk splash should win assuming decent gear.

However, it is still possible to equip handwraps with wolf form even without TWF and get that 30% flurry of blows, right?
Wolf form has goodies like:
Alpha Strike: +10(W), cooldown 12 secs.
Baiting bite: +4(W), cooldown 6 secs.
Jaws of winter: +6(W), cooldown 20 secs.
Frostbite (passive): +1d6 cold damage + 2d10 on crits

If you can still get that 30% flurry of blows bonus with the 30% wolf form bonus, then the offhand strike difference of a non-shifted TWF with handwraps would only be 32%, and the base damage of the handwraps would be 1d6 compared to 1d10 of wolf form. (Not sure if this is working as intended either).

Not sure if Dance of Flowers works with Wolf form + Handwraps also, but Reinforced fists does seem to work. Just tested and it looks to be adding 1d6 to Winter Wolf form.

As of now, Druids are able to TWF with wolf form so I can't test the difference of the two.

But if Non-shifted TWF does more DPS than Natural fighting, then there would be not much reason to take Natural fighting x3 at all, except maybe for Takedown and Snowslide. (I don't have Snowslide yet so never tested).

When (If) they fix the bug, I'd have to decide to switch out of TWF and go Natural fighting, or keep TWF and play Non-shifted.
I would probably be happier if TWF was stronger coz being a wolf is kind of a pain with the switches, ladders and hanging from cliffs animation.

Not sure how to do the math, but here's a try with number of attacks/attack speed:

Wolf form with handwraps
1 (base number of attacks)
1.18 (with natural fighting)
x
1.6 (flurry & wolf form attack speed)

= 1.888

Non-shifted TWF
1.8
x
1.3

= 2.34

1.888 / 2.34 = 0.807

So, wolf form would be 80% speed of Non-shifted TWF
