Hi,

It looks like another version of a missile spamming shiradi wizard, with fvs levels for SP efficiency, spellpower, and better criticals, and monk for evasion and improved saves.

I have a 16wiz/2rog/2fvs which is based on Ancient's pale master supremacy build. These builds are very survivable and can dish out quite a lot of damage for low SP costs.

What's interesting is that you can still DC cast in a lot of epic hard and lower content (and even some easier EEs) if you keep your INT up. So spells like Otto's dancing ball can be worth taking if you have some good gear to support your DCs.

Thanks.

Thank you yes this is fairly accurate. High Crits (+8% fire/force from fvs and 1% from monk). Sp regen from just reward and low cost sla combo. The extra 2 levels of fvs is almost a religious debate. It gives +4% crits and +3 caster level basically which I think is a great trade off since nothing useful in force/fire exists in level 8+ spells.

MM spamming is right. All metamagics turned default on. extend/quicken turned off on buffs. All metamagic on for slas and all metamagic off for MM/CM/FM regular spells. Use those 5 as main rotation plus energy burst twist.

I was just posting this for a friend which is why I didn't give much explanation.

It's a fun build almost never running out of sp since just reward and low cost spells. It really only works in shiradi on EE, but you can run it on lower difficulties in off destiny for etr purposes.

This build doesn't require the best in class gear.

If you are going centered you will want to pick up sage's spectacles (run "A break in the ice" on any epic difficulty and it will be available as an end reward) for the fire spellpower and lore. You will also want a quarterstaff with impulse and kinetic lore.

If you aren't centered the sage's spectacles are still great, but you can also go with a impulse/kinetic lore weapon in one hand the libram of silver magic orb in the off-hand for extra spellpower and crits. It can be slotted with a meridian fragment.

The blue dragon armor set is great for the spell lore and additional spellpower if you can get it - but it's not critical. If you can't get the blue dragon armor Sage's Ring is available by running what goes up on any epic difficulty. You can also pick up a guardians ring as end reward in the same quest for 24 PRR for the other hand. The ideal rings are guardians ring + lantern ring but if you can't find a potency 80+ item you will want the sage's ring. If you have potency either on your quarter staff or armor you don't need the sage's ring.

THe upgraded versions of Necklace of Mystic Eidolons and Manual of Stealthy Pilfering from Haunted Halls are excellent items and it's fairly easy to find a group to run that with. Manual of Stealthy Pilfering gives good luck +3 and it includes +6 to charisma/intelligence skills. This helps out your diplomacy (tea with the queen) and spellcraft (for more spellpower) by 9 so although this item is meant for a rogue, it's an outstanding item for a caster if you don't have good luck and exceptional intelligence/charisma slotted somewhere else.

Bracers of the Sun Soul from the eveningstar commendation turn-ins is a great item for this build. It gives +2 con and +4 to all saves.

Beyond the above gear try to slot the following with random gear/augments as best you can - of course missing a few pts to a stat is not critical so don't worry too much if you can't get everything with the max stats. If you can get a false life +45 instead of 50 you are doing just fine.
- Insightful intelligence +2
- Globe of True Imperial Blood augment
- Con +10
- Dex +10
- Dodge 10%
- False life +50
- Resistance 10
- Fortification 100%+
- 250 Spell Points on item or augment
- Charisma +10 (if using lantern ring + guardian's ring)
- Diplomacy +20
- PRR as high as you can get (if you use lantern ring + sage's ring)
- Strength +6 or better (if you use lantern ring + sage's ring)
