Hiya. I just started playing again and noticed I was given a free heart of wood. I figured I'd use it since I made some poor decisions when I first made this character, like having low int. So I was planning out how to make the character in this character builder program, and thought I would run it by you guys to see if there are any glaring issues that you see.

The character is a halfling rogue, that uses a repeater. I'm not interested in changing the race or class, or about being min/maxed. It's level ten currently, and will likely not be getting to level twenty within the year, so not too worried about how it would fare in max level raids.

The biggest thing that stands out to me is the 6 STR. Yes, you don't need STR to hit, but you do need to carry stuff and repeaters are fairly heavy. An encumbered rogue is no bueno. Unless you can travel very light, I'd bump it up.

Second, I'd try to get some ranks in diplo, it's very helpful for shedding aggro and getting sneak attacks back. I don't usually worry much about Haggle, as there seems to be plenty of plat to be had regardless, so you could redistribute some of those points. Swim, meh, I never bother with it. Same with repair. Balance isn't that necessary in my book, as you'll seldom be on your back with super high Dex. Max your rogue skills (Search, OL, DD, Hide, Move Silently), UMD, Bluff, and Diplo (and I like to max Spot). Then build Jump, Tumble, Balance, Haggle, Listen, Swim as you like (probably close to the order I listed).

Happy hunting.
