View Full Version : Max rune arm DC?

Melee artificers are really, really fun- but I can't seem to get the rune arm DC high enough to cut it in EE and run arm DC is WHY melee artificers are fun - Warforged would get -2 DC but for the sake of the experiment we're using sun elf.

This is the highest I can come up with- can it get any higher?
Note this means losing out on tactical mobility just for another DC point. I'm not too happy with the number

60 isn't good enough for most things with evasion in EE. I really liked the new 3bc rune arm but the shot vs. evasion is god awful. Before u ask I do play a completionist , soon to be e completionist pure artie.

Arites really need help here if no where else....

Play in draconic, use lightning sla's from arcanotech to proc debuffs -10 reflex from lightning spells t4 draconic and twist tier 3 magister augmentation for another chance at -10 on evocation spells and they both stack with each other.

Two ways to play this game, smart and tactical or out level content thru past lives. Everyone chooses the latter.

Ur so smart! why didn't I think of that ! draconic is god awful for arites.

They should add +1 dc to each of the battle engineer cores and be done with it .

Use a rune arm with no save DC? Wiki implies Glass Cannon (Fire and Phys Damage) has no DC.

Thanks for the math! Just a small correction: precise evocation is +2 when you max it.

Also, I can't imagine running in magister or shadow dancer, but some people like them.

All runes arms have saves and the AOE ones like glass cannon and st. murays fire get 0 damage onn a successful save with evasion. At least the single target ones only get half damage

Just saying that I couldn't find a save for Glass Cannon anywhere in the item data on the wiki. Though I'd trust Fort/Will save arms more than Reflex save arms for that very reason. Evasion is slightly broken on enemies.
