Hi all,

I have found the in-game description of "Sword Dance" on SB tree was different from its real effect. The in-game description says dealing d10/12/20 per bard level sonic damage when enemy misses you while swashbuckling. But the real effect was dealing 1d10/12/20 sonic damage instead of per bard level. Can any dev confirm this? If the current effect is WAI, 2ap/rank is a bit too high for it imo...

It's currently broken in that way, but nothing has been said by the devs in regards to this. It's probably WAI because per bard level would be 20-400 damage on miss amplified by spell power.

With 300 spell power, something could miss you and take anywhere between 60 and 1200 damage.

Actually this is not broken as much as it is a Type-o. They said how it worked correctly in a Dev post but they've never fixed the description to match how it is performing. Back in April the Dev (Vargouille) posted this:

Sword Dance: While Swashbuckling, when enemies miss you in combat, you deal 1d10/1d12/1d20 Sonic Damage. Scales with Spell Power. (This triggers off of various miss chances, including Dodge, Armor Class, Displacement, etc.)
