How hard would it be to set up an enhancement for those "DPS Challenged" classes that would give their pets, hirelings, and summoned creatures a chance to process the character's weapon special attack as part of their attack? Would it be fairly simple, devilishly complex, or sadly just another way to increase lag? Perhaps a high tier enhancement for Cleric, Bard, Druid, Arti (not that Arti needs more DPS, but it would be hard to justify not giving it to a pet-enhanced character). Any thoughts? (like min 8 levels in character class, or rough percentage chance for process, etc?)

I hate to ask this, but you do know you can equip your pet right?

Yes, I know they can have armor and attack collar, but when have you seen any "named" nice DPS collars? Taking a small percentage of damage done by your char (that can wield two weps, multiple chances of effects processing. esp with custom or created type) and adding it to the pet (or hireling!) is a nice bonus to low overall DPS type chars. Granted, some just don't need it at all, they are geared to the teeth and have repeated past lives to the moon, but it would be neat for the newer folks. Although, as sad as the hirelings are, it might just process on themselves.. .. :)
