Greetings! I am currently doing my pure barb life and decided to try out the Occult Slayer tree. I know it is not a popular tree, for many reasons:

- Bond mechanic and switching weapons
- Bond only triggers once every second
- Bugged out enhancements (Bond of Retribution, please fix this!)
- More defensive
- etc

Well, the bond mechanic is really a PITA, especially when rusties or oozies come along at specific points. You either switch weapons or risk letting them break. Also, there are DR concerns, incorporeal enemies, ranged situations etc. All these make the bond mechanic very lacking.

So my suggestion is this (and I believe it is easily implementable):

Currently, weapon bond only goes up to 200. My suggestion is for it to go up to 1000 or some other high value, and whenever you switch weapons, you lose 100 bond value (or some other value that is appropriate), instead of all of your bond. This would give some flexibility in switching weapons.

To be honest, even if there was no value requirement for the bond enhancements, they would certainly not be overpowered. But I like the flavor that this mechanic brings, and this would be a way to keep the flavor and make it more useful.

PS: I don't if this has already been suggested (I've checked out some OS threads and not seen it), but apologies if it has been.

I'd rather they just add things like Everbright and Metalline to the Core enhancements or at certain bond values.
