Im going to be building a basically juggernaught only in flesh form, and wondered which race was best to use.

Well basically if a human/horc was better.

going for a 15 pld 3 monk 2 ranger burst build. 2 handed fighter.

If I was going for a centered fighter id just go helf to not have to mess with umd alot, but since this would already cast it's heals, wasn't sure on the bursting of a human vs the dmg stacked of the horc tree for 2 handed fighting.

I would go human for the dmg boost, so you can have dmg boost and the haste boost at the same time. IMO human edges out with the extra feat...

ya was thinking that, but the thing that gave pause was the horc having an extra 3 uses of 30 second haste.

The human has the ddoor option but with feats I dont see using one on a dragonmark with others to spare. Though using the boosts to increase to increase the stat of str and cha by 3 using the spell to turn those into str modifier.

Ive got a bit to go, so i'll have to go through and double check the enhancement numbers needed for everything, then add up the total str and dmg, vs time.

Now if the human stat boosts worked with any boost like the dread boosts that could compensate. But I don't think they do, or at least ive found that the sense weakness increases assosiated with boosts didn't.

So... It'll be like a jugg, only minus all the class levels and race that make a jugg? Are we now considering any self healing melee with manyshot to be a jugg? Seems like we're stretching that a bit.

Not to be too pedantic about build names, but this isn't a "fleshy Juggernaut," it's a Pyrene (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/412000-Pyrene-the-Endgame-Paladin) variant.

ya that's where it came from. Though fleshy jugg wasn't a name hahaha. I think I could be a bit more gutter minded to find a better name.

Anyways, I ended up choosing a horc. I like the look and the extra dmg for whipping a 2 hander. Got em dressed in drag atm, but has good base dmg, (bout 98 to 114 a swing atm) I wasn't sure on the manyshot though. I mean it was kinda sucky, but after getting up a few levels and grabbing my bow, it was a pretty good single target burst dmg.

And really can't beat the instant 200 hp serious spell. Pretty much the main reason why I used the heart. I liked my druids non hop out of the thick of it battle ways. Plus a nice jolt in 10% double with the prr stacked. Not gonna lie that extra feat is missed from human, but it's really just missing stunning blow. However I couldn't use the goofy thing in ee anyway so trip still works with the 52 str.

After this I think I might make the centered cleaver with the high saves version before pretty much every class gets shafted in the terms of crossover monk abilities... and probably the way adren works. That and it's odd, but as ive been grinding out the xp, ive seen some pretty badass druid fighter monk splashes. Anyways its a good build. Holds up great in ee and doesn't suffer that "im a pally and im gonna go hang myself" mentality of **** dmg.

The answer is obvious.

Bladeforged.

Redcloak's Halfling juggernaut (16 arti, 2 ftr, 2 Monk) with a feat "wasted" on Construct Essence was actually surprisingly survivable. The Halfling dragonmark also adds an interesting alternative method for quick healing... for those times when scrolls are not enough, or silver flame potions are unavailable or the disadvantages are too much.

If you take construct essence, then human would be a better way to go since you can get the repair dragonmarks.

And Fleshjugg sounds way too much like Fleshlight.

hahaha I know right? That's the first thing that popped into my head when a build title was mentioned.

And ya pretty much bladeforged would be the way to go now. You wouldn't even really need self healing with their enhancements. But until turb sells those at half price, I don't see buying one of those things.

Could do the old Beast design, a Human 15 Druid 3 Monk 2 Ranger build. Gets heal, some aoe damage, etc. As for feats, I'm at a loss. Still trying to make one myself but far too lazy to actually try.
