We'll be bringing Lamannia down tomorrow morning to update it to the next build of Update 20 Patch 1 that we have prepared!

Estimated downtime for tomorrow will be from 9am to 1pm EST (GMT-5)

Keep watch on this thread for further information.

Squeak will post updated release notes when she has them prepared.

i was wondering if they could take the update 20 release notes out since that stuff is already out.

That's cool. I'm still waiting for my character copy to complete so I can access it. Will updating the beta server to the latest build refresh the limit for how many copies you can do, allowing me to try copying again? Or should I just go twiddle my thumbs?

o0o good im not the only one that been waiting to test a new build and new weapons bc im stuck "in progress" since I tried copying him over the day lama came back up for u20.0.1

Once the server is back online, we're going to nudge the transfer tool for anyone who has failed or is stuck in progress. This should reset those conditions so you can retry (and hopefully succeed this time!)

As for the AH stocking: I'm certain squeak will be running that script over the next few days.

And as for the store question, I'm not certain what you're asking. This is a patch to update 20, which was a F2P update so there isnt a need to purchase any packs in the store to play them.

I think he means with this update to patch 1 if the store will be up and running as during the first round it was not available

I just took a look into the transfer tool and discovered that it's completely broken right now!

For now, character copies are simply not going to work until further notice. I'll be sure to update everyone as I find out more.

Didn't see a fix for EK Wand and Scroll Mastery.. anyone on lamania test this? I'd like to get more than 110 hp back from a reconstruct scroll at some point.

those are some mighty feeble angry owlbears you've got there, considering the minimal strength of one docile halfling is 6.

I take it to mean that if you already had 9 past lives in a sphere (3 of each feat) you no longer gain any benefit from ER in that sphere. This allows you to still ER if you have enough karma in that sphere. This seems like an extreme edge case though and I can't imagine why you would want to ER in this situation.

Did I understood it wrong, or Festivult is no longer random? One of my favorite parts of it was exactly the turn-ins being randomized, so you could get rare stuff, like trinkets, tomes and GS greatclubs.

EDIT: Just checked on Lama. Still random. Just the trade interface is now "trade 3 copper coins" and such. Will be less painful to mass trade.

It appears Festivult cakes and cookies will no longer be random (which is both good and bad...probably more good than bad though as we can choose the more useful ones).

My question is: are the coins and cookies and cakes still unbound and tradeable/auctionable? (Hoping they are!)

I no longer see any issues with /death in the Known Issues list. Has the /death bug been fixed so that we come back to life at a bind point with /death now? (i.e. we no longer have to relog to come back to life)

Prevents huge mistakes, like Fawn checked and she could accidently choose Colors of Queen even though she has 3x in it and nothing in the other two primal past life feats.

Nice to see this new touch, love the new reincarnate interface.

I love that we finaly see the random loot versatility coming back.

However, are we going to see more quest xp revamping? Are there things still in the works or is it considered done for now?

I have a couple of the old poison weapons. Will they be retroactively changed to this new format?

For that matter, will any previously existing weapons which had similar effects to the new ones be retroactively changed?

Re the new poison prefix - could you clarify about the stat damage. Is it 1d4 to a fixed stat i.e. when generated it randomly picks str, dex, or con to damage; or is it on hit it randomly damages one of those stats?

Because if its the latter why on earth did you even bother to tack it on to the poison damage? On average that's 2.5 damage to one of 3 stats at random - so overall you're talking about less than 1 point of damage to a particular stat per critical, even with dual wielding high crit range you are not going to see any particular stat seriously affected unless you get a really good set of rolls. In heroic ordinary mobs will be dead long before this has a significant effect, and in most normal quests the same can be said of the bosses, only thing likely to live long enough to see it have an impact are raid bosses and odds are you'll be using a different weapon to bypass DR. Same likely applies in epic normal; and on epic hard/elite the mobs recover stat points fast enough that this level of stat damage would be pointless.

The old virulent poison may have been limited to 1d6 damage from memory, but it did 1 point of fixed stat damage per hit plus 1d6 on a crit. Now in heroic that was still useful as that stat dropped fairly fast and you could well render them helpless before they died, and it was a suffix, so if you were very lucky you could get both wounding and constitution virulent poison on one weapon which might have been still useful in epics, although not epic elite perhaps.

I know youre probably worried about ending up with the old situation that used to exist with wounding of puncturing weapons etc, but any enchantment to weapons or armour, even if its just a minor part of one like the stat damage in the new poison should be at least situationally useful or useful to a particular build. And I'm not convinced this is.

How about allowing people to purchase the Shadowfell Conspiriacyand iconic heroes from the ddo store on Lammania so we can test those races and stuff out without having to time it just right to find a GM online that can give us access. it would be a great help for those of us that can NEVER seem to catch a break and find a GM online when we can actually log in

Worst part is I HAD access to Bladeforged when they first came out, however, once update 19 came out i lost the use of bladeforged and can't seem to get any of the iconics now.

Also as of right now i cant seem to chat in general chat at all in ANY area of the game. I have relogged and everything and nothing
just keeps telling me general chat is not available in this area.

one quick note guys and gals, is when I leave thunderholme for mana. the Dungeon resets which is a drag because I cant find any shrines . so evry time ihave too start over pretty much have gone every which way and no shrine fvs so no good search.

Does it bear mentioning for the gazillionth time how the epic stat shield also makes all of this discussion somewhat irrelevant. Even if a combined virulent poison (strength) debilitation weapon existed it would still be near useless as long as the stat shield remains at 90%.
