Something a little different...I think.

Not looking the solo EEs, but be a contributing party member. At endgame he should have decent hp, dps, saves and self healing (through cocoon twist).

Went 8 fighter so I could get One with the Blade; went 4 Paladin so I could get Turn Undead which allows Divine Might and 8 Monk to round out.

Would appreciate thoughts and comments. Thanks for looking :-)

I fail to see what the last 2 levels of monk get you that in any way makes up for losing unyielding sov from 6 paladin? Not to mention 6 pal improves your 1st level spells (divine favor) and gives you an extra spell to work with, more pal levels to power LoH, etc. But even ignoring all that unyielding sov is worth more than anything you get from monk at levels 7 and 8.

One more thought... why bastard swords? Unless you have a stash of the best ones available, khopesh is superior in every way on a TWF build. If planning for endgame then rapier is another option (and still better than bastard swords while leveling). The only thing keeping me from saying scimitar is that I don't know of many good named options. But khopesh.... build yourself a pair of tier3 level 12 water khopeshes, add MC to make them level 10, and dominate all the way to 20, by which time you can use the epic version and/or switch to drow khopesh at 21.

You backloaded Weap Spec to lvl 18; since you need that before you can take the full Kensei Specialization line, it means you are delaying Keen Edge + One w/Blade that long. So I recommend rearranging feats you can take it and IC:Slash ASAP, probably by dropping Toughness & OTWF.

Thanks for the response Inoukchuk. I went with 8 Monk 4 Paly so I could get Wholeness of Body at Monk 7. IMO Wholeness of Body, with its 3 minute cooldown is more useful than US and its 10 minute cooldown. LoH at low levels is negligible. With 4 levels of Paly and a 26 Charisma my LoH would heal for 112 hp ((10 + 4) * 8). If I went with 6 levels of Paly it would heal for 128 ((10+6) * 8).

I went with Bastard Swords over khopeshes, rapiers, etc. for two reasons. 1) Thanks to the absurd Raiders Boxes I got, I now have 2 Nightmares and I have enough Comms to get the red augment and Devotion 114 in one of them. 2) With Bastard swords you get glancing blows.

Good point unbongwah. I was thinking of endgame build and if I really TR into this I will have to rearrange order of feats.

Thanks again and keep comments coming :-)

You only get glancing blows if you use them one handed or with a shield.

As the poster above mentions, you don't get glancing blows when TWF.
The difference between wholeness and US for me is US can:
1) can be used in combat
2) clears all ill effects (neg levels, poisons, diseases, stat damage, etc etc)
3) heals over 1k damage
4) can be used on other people
5) did I mention can be used in combat?

Those factors make it 10X better IMO, especially when combined with flask of rum and any other healing (like cocoon at epic levels, healing curse, vampiric...whatever)
