Ship Buffs via Astral Shards!
while on a Guildship cost is: 3AS*
while in City or Explorer: 6AS*
while in Quest: 12AS*

*Buffs stay till death, you aquire all buffs your current Guildship has active.

Old way to get buffs with 1hr timer stays in-game unchanged.

now some might complain why it has to cost AS or anything at all
but someone has to pay for the Dev time and this way we make a good compromise
between we want it (naow) and the need of turbine to make money with it.
Also it follows the already in place way of repairing with AS.

I'd have no problem with this, though I wouldn't implement this for while in quest.

I'd prefer they simply lasted until death.

Though if you have to throw in a Pay2Win option allow for the ressing with your buffs at the cost of 3 shards.

This doesn't resolve the issue that originally brought up the need for the timer extension, which was having to stop during questing to rebuff. There are players, myself included, who have no interest in shards, so those that would use this mechanic will still have to wait for those who don't.

Furthermore, for those who won't wait, it'll create a divide between those who will use the mechanic and expect those they group with to vs. those who won't use the mechanic.
