Please let us resize game windows as we see fit. I am tired of having to change screen resolutions every time I want to pull a skill out of the epic destiny window to put it onto my hotbars. The same can be said for every window frame in the game. I should be able to resize the ddo store frame, the myddo frame, and every other one in the game as I see fit. Thank you that is all.

The epic destinies window and rune-arm description windows are the worst offenders that I've seen.

While I like the idea, there are currently some practical issues in that UI art assets in DDO aren't readily scalable. That could be fixed either by pre-rendering a variety of scales (hd space/cpu loading inefficient) or tapping one of the 3d engine devs to move all the ui elements off screen and then re-add them as scaled viewports (efficient & good, but taking up 3d dev time).

It's incredibly annoying having to move my hotbar over just to dump an ED ability onto it.

Might help to list what resolution you play in natively and the native max res of your monitor. I don't have this issue, but I run at max game res which just happens to be the best res setting for my 28" monitor.

At 1366x768 (windowed, so probably more like 1358x750), the epic destiny window can't even be moved because the top portion of the window is off screen. This is a relatively common resolution on mid-range 15.1" laptops.

I don't have any issues on my laptop or desktop. But I can just imagine how annoying it could be.

Hotbars, windows, etc are a major pain on laptops.. Would be a great improvement if things could be scaled in the UI.. Even if it was a clumsy solution like setting the UI to a percentage of the base value.
Surely that would also help people with bad eye sight and high resolution.

If you could resize windows to whatever size you see fit screen resolution would not matter. People could play at whatever one they see fit.

In full screen I play at 800x600 when I raid so I can get max frame rate and not lag out when all of the spell and graphics effects start going crazy. When I solo I play in windowed mode at 1280x768. Just try 800x600 once and then try to open the destiny window. You'll feel my pain in about 10 seconds.

I agree! Can we put the party window high on the "To do" list as well? I have the exact opposite problem, in that my native resolution is rather highiish, and my native eyesight is rather poorish, and those tiny red bars with number overlapping them are frustratingly small - enough so that i feel like I'm going to leave nose prints on my monitor if i lean in anymore while playing healer.

Yeah absolutely, I wonder though if this is a known issue or if it was an oversight? Seems like it would have a pretty significant impact on playability.

That's the standard res in europe.
