1. Android / iOS apps:

a. Character lookup
b. Raid Timer
c. Character builder/planner
d. Guild Chat
e. Compendium
f. News
g. Forum view/post/etc.

2. Scrap Myddo and revamp the platform

From a user perspective, the above would be very handy and something I think a considerable number of people would use.

From a marketing perspective not much has to be said.

From a game operator perspective, its a pretty safe and cheap hedge you might end up with a mobile gaming app that goes viral if you expand into a hybrid via:

a. crafting via mobile
b. auction house via mobile
c. messaging via mobile
d. mobile only content (turn based challenges/quests/PVP on mobile)

A mobile strategy, if planned and executed correctly, would be a great addition to the game experience.

The raid, the 'mobility' scuse the pun and AH use sound brilliant!
If they worked it properly, perhaps DDO store on the go?

If they build a replacement MyDDO properly, they won't need to create any "apps". Mobile devices are fully capable of running advanced web applications.
Heck, when the iPhone first launched, that's exactly what they said developers should do.
