View Full Version : DDO Store just showing blank screen

Tried to open the store and all I get is a blank screen. Logged out and tried again, still blank.

At the top of the DDO store window there is a back button and a home button.
Clicking those will usually reset the DDO store back to a viewable state.
It does have a tendancy to get stuck on a screen that doesnt exist anymore.

Click the button rapidly 4-5 times. This'll do what is effectively a page refresh on it. If that still doesn't work, relogging usually fixes it; Try loading another toon in between, sometimes it just bugs rather specifically.
Other than those options, it'll be something you'll have to wait out, as it always clears up eventually (though you'll still need to relog in between).

You can also try a full restart of the client (closing the launcher and reloading it), and see if that helps.

If you also tried my suggestions, then it's time to bug report it and hope for the best..
I haven't had that severe a store issue since years back, and even then I only knew to wait it out.

Think it's update related. Problem didn't happen until update.

Make sure your system date is correct, same thing happened to me when the date was rolled back.

I've encountered the same problem and send in a bug report.
The reply was to check the DDO/Turbine support side for answers.
It was spot on, after some searching i found the answer to solve the blanc Store problem.

Will search again for you and update this post when i've found the answer.

Edit: just now noticed this thread is a couple of days old, so it might have been solved by now.

Still posting the info for others who have simular DDO Store problems:

And then particulary the following part solved my Store problems:
The game launcher through Internet Explorer (which shares IE’s system-wide connection settings) may be configured to utilize a proxy server that may not be allowing the store to load. Close out of the game and bring up the game launcher, and then click on the button in the row in the upper-right corner that has the single down-arrow on it choosing Options. In there under the Advanced tab and select the "Configure Proxy Settings" link. In this panel click to enable the "No Proxy" option and click ok. Restart the launcher to ensure that it can still connect and once that is confirmed then log into the game and check the store as well.
