so I got the lesser slayer boost pot.... drank it on my ship...

timer starts at 29:59

never left my ship .... logged off

logged back in .... timer now shows 29:55

what a rip off....

Can you guys code anything right? What are you going to do about this?

Holds breath for an answer

Character RC Server Orien yes you have the ability to check my login and log out and when i drank the pot..... i never left the ship and lost 5mins on timer.....

please explain to me and the rest of the VIP's that are paying you every month what the heck you are doing with our money?

Check your logs....... i got off work .... logged in .... got the slayer boost timer starts at 29:59.... logged off .... logged in timer shows 29:55 ..... logged off .... logged in timer now shows 29:44.....

well?

It appears that you have found a bug that caused a loss of 5 seconds on yer timer.
Did you bug report it?

From 29:59 down to 29:55 ...sounds more like losing 4 sec. While it's nowhere near 5 min. in fact it is strange.

Does no-one else feel that the slayer boost pots are far far too weak?

30 minutes? Really?

1 extra per 10 kills? Really???

This is a joke when compared to XP Boost Pots, Renown Boosts, Loot Boosts etc.

A Slayer boost should last for one instance {no matter how long you remain in the instance} - No-one wants to waste a pot on Waterworks slayers {the only one where it's currently even worthwhile to use them}.
Let us have the boost for one instance of whichever slayer we're in - Whether it be 3 Barrel {doable in 45 mins solo} or Vale {God knows - takes me 45 mins just to run round the place once everything's dead}.

For slayer zones with quests make it so entering another instance removes the boost.

This isn't just a slayer boost elixir problem. Check with all of your public pausing potions™

When you log in, the game doesn't know where you are, so your timers count down as soon as you start the login process. After some time, depending on your connection, the game figures out you are in a public area and then pauses your public area pausable buffs.

I'm not saying I agree with this. What I am saying is that this is how it is currently being handled based on my observation and that of my guildmates.

My solution would be, if this is indeed the problem, would be to switch the checks. Meaning buffs are always paused at login until the game realizes you are not in a public zone then starts counting them down.

And yes I and several of my guild mates have bug reported this and contacted in game DM's. Never got a response or acknowledgement of the bug reports and a standard 'we can't help you with that, it's not a known issue' reply from in game DM's
