Unfortunately, the new crafting recipes, less-restrictive recipes, and Cannith Crafting level increase will not be making it to Update 13 when the update goes live. We've decided to pull these new crafting recipes in order to do further work on them, and roll them out along with a more comprehensive crafting system update later on. It's too early to provide details about that more comprehensive update, or say when it will be released, but as soon as we can we will let you know. Thanks!


Don't know if it was already sugested, but know what would be great?

If crafting required less essences but also required an item with the effect you want to create

This way the most rare effects would still be rare, allowing to put effects like vorpal in the crafting system, and crafting would become less grindy.

The current system could be kept for effects not avaliable in random loot, and bolts/runestones and the like to enable random crafting for lvling purposes

That's... a very good idea. Makes sure there's no influx of very desirable effects, while making them more generally available as useful weapons.

Smiting shard costs XXX Greater + XXX Lesser chaos essences, X Collectable, X Purified Dragonshard, and (Random lootgen) of Smiting.

They could make Smiting, Vorpal etc. distill into its own essence instead of Chaos, Evil or whatever (perhaps with a different, more expensive type of Removal item) to avoid having to code the barter box to accept random weapons.

Beeing able to use the item would be nice, but if it is too much coding, working like the +s works now seens fine enough aswell
