Please consider going to level 26

This makes building a multiclass much more reasonable
i.e. 18+6+2 or 12+12+2 or 13+12+1 or 24+2 or 24+1+1
Currently you can go to a power of 6 (18) +2 and this works nicely
the next power of 6 is 24 + 2 = 26

Since presumably there will be feats allowed at 21 and 24 and a stat up at 24,
26 would not add more feats (that would be 27) or stat pts (that would be 28), just some skillup points

If you divide the planned XP for 5 levels and spread it out to 6 levels - levels would take slightly less time decreasing percieved grind time

It doesn't work that way (and thank god... we'd have some totally overpowered builds).

20 class levels is all you get...

The next 5 levels are epic levels... They give bonus feats, spells, etc. but they're not going to be in a CLASS...

You'll be 18/2/5 fighter/rogue/epic, not 20/3/2 fighter/monk/rogue

While I agree that this is probably the case, can you point me to where this was said by Turbine?

I dont think these levels are going to be available for adding to current multiclassing I think levels 21-25 are special levels.

I think this has already been done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbVKWCpNFhY

The reference may be general, but it appears in this quote:

Expansion FAQ

How will “epic” levels work? Are they different than normal character levels?
Normal character levels are now called “Heroic” levels (1-20). After the release of Menace of the Underdark, characters who’ve reached level 20 will be able to start earning experience towards their Epic Levels. Epic levels allow players to continue to advance and customize their characters in all new ways. We’ll post more previews and dev diaries for the community regarding these exciting new features.

Are the abilities based on reaching “level cap to 20” going to change to 25? (e.g. True Reincarnations Capstones, Completionist feat, Prestige Enhancements)
Capstones, True Reincarnations, Prestige Enhancements, and Completionist feat are all still going to be based on reaching level 20 of what is now called “Heroic” levels (Heroic levels are the levels from 1-20 prior to epic).

On the surface, it appears that Epic levels will just be non-typed levels completely independent from the Heroic levels (1-20).

Any further inference onto what this really means for build types remains to be seen.

Could be a lot of things. Epic levels could select whatever class you want to level for those five levels, except that you get BAB and Saves like in Pen and Paper (1/2th per level for all), and if you go over 20 levels in a class you gain that class' epic levels.

Or it could be something completely different, but Turbine seems to want to work within the framework of the source material. Sure, they'll add things like enhancement points and huge monk abilities on top of that, and tweak things here and there, but they've almost never outright changed someone from what I've seen.

Edit: Speaking of tweaking, if they do go with the above, I hope they tweak the epic levels for those wanting to go through 1-25 in one class. They're usually pretty... dry.
