My Ideal Class would be a combination between the rogue, the Cleric, The Artificer, And the Ranger (And a little more)

I'll call it, Raider, after all it would be the best class for raiding and putting what all is looted to use through. (If it were to exist)

Can use Disable device and open locks as good as a rogue

Has a decent Use magic device ability

Has the favored enemy enhancements like the ranger

Can cast heal spells on himself

Can gain temporary stat increases to better handle obstacles while in dungeons and such (Example:Increase strength to turn the valve)

Has proficiency with all slashing weapons

Can gain an immunity to ranged attacks

Can intimidate a monster to come close by and keep his position for up to 30 seconds (he can attack, but you can also run away while he is frozen to his position)

Is better (Or as good as) at crafting items when compared to the Artificer

At the very start, the character made has Favored enemy: Elemental (And can train up to 5 more)

At start has all resistances set at 2, resistances rise plus one at every level gained.

Downfalls: Can't use ranged weapons, can't use attack magic (Even if it is from a scroll), Can only heal him/herself, is slightly more vulnerable to slashing piercing and bludgeoning weapons than other classes

I'm a fan of weapons like swords and really don't care for long ranged weapons, what can I say, I want a sword wielding class that can get me through dungeons and interact with everything in one and fight certain monsters with great efficiency while becoming immune to ranged attacks and having a weak spot for close ranged combat as in a slight armor class downgrading.

I don't like the ranger's inability to open locks, I don't like the level of Focus the Artificer puts on use of magic, I don't like being a rogue and getting defeated easily by ranged attacks, I Don't like the ranger's focus on Ranged weapons.

I want a close ranged combat specific class that can open locks, disable devices, heal himself, have a better favored enemy enhancement set than the ranger, become immune to any form of ranged attacks (Whether magic or projectile), use magic device, be a total brute with a sword, and make temporary stat enhancements (20 Seconds would do). I'd accept the sacrifice of a bit of AC (-3 absolute max), I'd accept only being able to heal myself, I'd accept an inability to cast magic in battle (other than to heal self), and I'd definitely be able to accept that I can't use ranged weapons.

The emphasis that was placed on the use of magic, about 7 times greater than I would have cared to have.

The amount of favor placed upon ranged combat was annoyingly extreme, considering I think ranged combat pretty much takes fun out of the game. ( I DON'T LIKE RANGED COMBAT, I don't like being effected by ranged combat, and I don't like using ranged weapons). All the enhancements for upgrading spells, I would have much rather have had them be for upgrading resistances to the elements instead. The Artificer gets automatic proficiency with exotic ranged weapons, how comes we can choose to make our character a non ranged type warrior instead? It's kinda annoying. Another thing, I would definitely prefer the stats for spell-points and hit-points be switched. Also, the Open lock and disable device skills haven't leveled up as much as I'd hope them to have, heck I even took a Rogue class to get myself nimble fingers and a good start. Among all of this being so, I also could not come to be able heal myself through spells........
