I have gotten into the habit of entering the DDO lotteries when I log in a character. and it has provided some nice little bonuses. generally just a few crafting ingredients or some coins but have also been lucky enough to get a couple of lesser hearts and even one true heart.

but after 6 months or so of entering lotteries across 20 or so characters, the "you have won" section of the lottery screen is a mile long and trying to scroll through to see if there are any new messages takes forever. so wondering if there is a way to delete messages after I have collected the winnings from the mailbox or set a time limit for the message to expire? I haven't found a way and, so far, it doesn't appear to have an auto-expiration date set up. of it does but it's set for a pretty long time

many thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Don't think so, but if I'm wrong somebody PLEASE TELL ME!! :p

It's pretty annoying.

No.

I do the same, but I use an outside hte game browser to enter the lotteries so that I can use Backley's Greasemonkey scripts to sort the winning entries list by date. Then you only care about the ones on the top of the list.

It wouldn't be so bad if the "you've won" alerts were listed in chronological order so that you could see if anything new was won, but there is no way to clear that out currently.

+1 for being extremely informative and useful.

Also, anyone know why lotteries keep giving festival coins? The jester is gone, or maybe will return anytime soon?

and the odds of winning those festival coins seems to be quite high. just banking them for the next return of the jester but it's sure adding to the problem

this would be great except I don't see a way to enter or view the lotteries from outside the game. I would assume it should be in the "My DDO" page but not seeing anything in there. is there a setting somewhere to toggle that on/off for web page viewing?

If you go to MDDO and then click on your account name you are on your home page, which allows you to enter the lotteries.

You can go directly to it with a url like: http://my.ddo.com/tpickrell/

Except change tpickrell to your ddo account name.

My winning entries seem to fall off the list after about three months, but not always.
