Boy !
It took some effort to come to this place. Took like 15 minutes with entering usernames and password every minute.

My intelligence tome +1 just was sold at the auction house. Buyer had to pay 24.999 PL.
The message has 2100 PL for me saying 9000 PL were substracted as fee. Numbers don't add up at all.

I fully accept girlish RPG policy, that no "good" items can be traded since bound to char/account, but this is ridiculous.

For the forums issue, go to MyDDO, log in there, checking the "Remember Me" box. Then come to the forums, and you should stay logged in. The forum login has be borked for a while now.

As for the AH, not sure what to tell you. Maybe the amount you got was in plat, but the fee was in gold? That would produce fairly reasonable numbers, although still not consistent with your price. The AH cut is supposed to be 30%.

Most likely you were half asleep. With a 9000pp tax, the item must have sold for 30000pp (or maybe 29999) and you received 21000 rather than 2100. These numbers are entirely consistent. In most of these cases the error is between keyboard and chair

This would be my guess too.

Which is why I always check my blood alcohol level before I get upset about something involving numbers! :p

Gentlemen, I was wrong.

The message only showed the 4 digits 2105, but when I accepted, 21050 PL were handed over.

Can be closed.

Picturing newnoob with a disturbed face looking at his computer. Then he reaches for his portable breathalyzer and blows. Readout says 15.996. A look of relief and understanding wash over his previously contorted face. Goes back to playing. Resumes his naked loot runs of arachnophobia in the harbor, perfectly contented.
