Just some things I'd like to see...

- Desert Teleport : Allow for some form of Gianthold-Style teleport in the Desert. ESPECIALLY to the pre-raid. I don't so much mind the pre-raid itself, but that run annoys the beejeezus out of me every time. And it fits with the recent measures to make earlier content less aggravating to access.

- Shroud Altars : Has there ever been any consideration given to moving the Shroud alters to an external zone? Something like Raiding the Giants Vault, Feast or Famine, or Sykros' Jewel, but into an otherwise inaccessible portion of Meridia? I have been in a couple of groups where one person needing to stay in for crafting has been problematic for the rest of the group looking to move on to more content.

- Catacombs : Something, anything, to alleviate the constant stair running in the Catacombs.

That is all for now...

Can we park the genie right outside the quest entrance so I don't forget to talk to him twice and run all the way back a 2nd time EVERY TIME I DO THIS RAID! :p

Seriously, at least 4/5 times I forget.

could we make it so you either dont have to run dq1 first or make it more like von? where you enter on casual/norm for the first raid then step into it from the quest as a raid?

Desert Teleport - That's been complained about numerous times. Once you FIND the quest entrance, you SHOULD be able to port there. Not an easy button. Just a time saver (at least for me since I am generally the one escorting the newbies to the quest).

Shroud Altars - Will never happen. It's gotta be one of the biggest money makers for Turbine. I'm going to buy the Devastation contract tonight to build a GS something (don't know yet).

Catacombs - Yeah, that's a pain after a while. But top to bottom (and vice versa) is only a few seconds. Now what they need to do is reset your dang House P Pendant after you talk to the dude. That's the biggest problem, you only get speed one way.

Do you really think It would impact sales? I mean, you'd still have to run Shroud (and complete for that matter) in order to be able to access it. Just like if they were to put an altar on top of the Ataraxia Tower...

I have always considered the Ship-Altars to target folks who didn't want to have to wait to run the Shroud before crafting.

I actually kinda like jumping and floating in spirals down the Catacombs... I might be alone there. I found it miserable the first time I ran it as a newb though, and wasn't very good with the whole stairs and going the right direction thing.

The run between quests doesn't bother me but I really would like it if my hireling was persistent inside the Catacombs. Having to resummon when entering each quest is a pain.

You're not alone. I still find it annoying, but entertaining nonetheless.

I have been in a couple of groups where one person needing to stay in for crafting has been problematic for the rest of the group looking to move on to more content.

I've never found it overly troublesome to simply break party when someone needs to finish a side objective in a quest, craft, or run a separate quest with a party-provided open [assuming this was with party's acknowledgement]. It only takes a few seconds to do, and it's a fairly minor matter to help someone out on.

But, if I'm alone in that, then I'd suggest your best options to be farming up your guild to altar-gaining points, or for the people in question to make friends with people with ships that already have access to such.
