View Full Version : Threnal Side Quests

In the outside area of Threnal there are 3 mini dungeons. Unlike the side lairs in most explorer zones (places like the orc prison and bandit lair in cerulean hills for example), these are actual quests with an entry window, different diffculty settings etc. Yet they currently give no favor rewards and as there's no named items that drop in them there is little incentive to bother with them. My suggestion is to give them a favor reward each, say 2/4/6 of either House P or D favor. They should also appear in the list of quests in the Adventure Compendium.

fast, easy solo xp....no running anywhere to retake quest and no finding a group or another player to window.

They are what I do when I'm in that level range, and don't have time to find a group. XP per minute is not great, but there is no time lost waiting for group, or running around.

See, it's useless to justify gimp quests. Many of us out there love to run them even when there's no compelling prize involved, but fact of the matter is, that in the big picture, these quests are non-existant.

It would be nice to have a short chain to run the three and complete the altar, can just be the basic crappy reward and people would likely be happy. I found them for the first time the other day and ran them all on norm hard and elite just for the bonus exp from first time runs. Ya it wasn't much, but neither was the time involved. Found some chests, but should still be some npc grateful for me clearing the bad guys around their excavation sites.

In the dim mist enshrouded vacum that serves as my memory there is a thought that these used to give good rewards at one time. However dont hold me to that.

A returning founder that I used to play with in a static group showed me these, and said that back in the day when level cap was 10 they used to be the go to loot runs.

The loot they give was useful, when the level cap was 10.

Just having them grant favor is incentive enough to run them, but really the whole pack needs to be heavily reworked.
