Not as good as the Artificer Raid but still challenging and interesting. Had great fun in both raids. I imagine they will be quite resource intensive until we get it all figured out - which is great - a good challenge. This one will likely be considerably easier than the artificer one also.

Awesome work on the visual appearance of the lord of blades. He's a beast.

Yea this raid really wasnt a challenge once you figured it out. Melees are def gonna be alot better in these raids in terms of dps, but in terms of survivability they are gonna struggle.

You guys figure out his DR or alignment?

Nice work, hardcore gamers will like it. It seems.

Hopefully Turbine doesn't see the 1% that are extreme as the rest of the servers population.

Please tell me you somehow beat back the LoB but don't actually kill him in the raid...

I hope he is killed. We need to crush the spirit of the Warforged and show them that they are nothing more than tools for labor. :P

The Lord of Blades will probably disappear once he is defeated like the Stormreaver, Lord of Eyes (now he should have been killable imo), and that one Hag (who also should have been killable), as they are central characters to the setting (IIRC).

Yes fun raid.

We got him to 10% the first try, then we were all six booted from the game at the same time...

So we went back in and gave him the business. It takes a team effort, and it was a bit hectic figuring things out with all that was going on.

Thumbs up from me, good job devs.

There is a chest. You didn't look hard enough.

Run across the bridge that spawns and there is a switch on the wall that opens the wall, the chest, the crafting altar, and the teleports to the four option bosses for ingredients are there.

With just a tiny bit of searching you can find

http://eberron.wikia.com/wiki/The_Lord_of_Blades

(or the actual setting's Faith book, like I have)

And find that he is a solid LE Alignment.

I would assume Adamantine DR, though may be incorrect there. Mithral would be my second choice. =)

It's not that we didn't look that hard enough, the chest didn't spawn when we ran it. Instead a GM ended up showing up and dropping some bags on the ground. That was our equivalent to a chest I suppose.

Ahhh... horse of a different color because the chest spawned for us and had essences and blanks.

Got to look into this. My modem decided to die horribly about six hours before this event, but it's up and running now. Stupid ADSL.

If the bull rush was made as part of a charge, he deals an extra 2d6 points of damage (from the Greater Powerful Charge feat).
Hook “The war is not over.”

Tactics and Allies
Against poorly armored foes, the Lord of Blades uses Power Attack, taking a –4 penalty on attack rolls to gain a +4 bonus on damage rolls. He enjoys charging and bull rushing his opponents, for obvious reasons. Less a fan of ranged combat, the Lord of Blades usually instructs one of his obedient warforged minions to carry his masterwork composite longbow until needed.
