OK been doing some experimenting & really not finding any way to make the radiant aura (or radiant burst) heal or damage undead gain any additional power -

Anyone have any tips?

The Burst is a level 4 heal effect, so Ardor/Potency/etc IV or higher should boost it. It's also boosted by Empower, Maximize, and Empower Healing.

The Aura is, I believe, a level 6 heal effect, so you'll need VI to boost it. Of the metamagics, only Empower Healing works.

Enhancements that boost healing, like Life Magic, will also improve them.

Thanks for that - guess I already have it covered then, good to know :)

Also the crit/improved crit enhancement lines and a Healing Lore item will increase the amount your aura and burst crit heal.

Look into getting the Gauntlets of Eternity (http://ddowiki.com/page/Gauntlets_of_Eternity) from Reaver's Fate, the Staff of Fleshshaping (http://ddowiki.com/page/Staff_of_Fleshshaping) from the Harbinger of Madness chain or the Sceptre of Healing (http://ddowiki.com/page/Scepter_of_Healing) from the Harbor turn in quest, Invaders!.

you can also improve it onself with healing amplification.

wasn't it linked to charisma too?

either that or how many you get is, I think.

Your number of terms is dependant on your Charisma modifer, but does not effect that actual Radiant Aura in anyway. I have 2 clerics, one with 14 charisma, and the other with a 20, only difference is how many are available.

I thought it was linked to CHA also, but taking off or putting on my +6 CHA cloak does not seem to make a measurable difference in strength, though the cloak + ship buffs WILL add a turn or two.

Thinking that the potency VI is the best bet, as I have it on a necklace that dropped in Amrath (Shiona's Pendant: http://ddowiki.com/page/Shiona%27s_Pendant) so don't have to hold it all the time. Also seems that that and the healing scepter should stack? Will try it and see.

Thanks again to all.

Potency will override any specific damage boost effects like Devotion, if your potency item is of equivalent power.

Superior Ardor clickies, on the other hand, provide a 3 minute 75% boost and will override your Potency item.

A Xachosian Eardweller will also boost your healing power and your aura/blast. It provides a temporary 1 minute per click 100% bonus to spell power. It implies it should stack, but the consensus is that it doesn't.

Your burst is affected by Empower, Maximize, Empower Heal, and Quicken. I think Heighten also affects its damage to undead, as it has a will save for half.

Your aura is affected just by Empower Heal.

Charisma does not increase its power, only increases the number of turns you have.
