You Occasionally Find Small Animals In Your Backpack - This is one of the comments on your ranger past life feat. I have a ranger that has been TR'd x2 and have still been unable to find small animlals in my backpack. If this is not some bug in the game or some future addition then it is obviously an atempt at some ranger lore dialog.

It's supposed to be a joke. The other past life feats (http://ddowiki.com/page/Past_Life_Feats) all have text that starts "you occasionally find yourself" doing whatever. Such as the Bard's "You occasionally find yourself humming a merry tune." The Paladin's "You occasionally find yourself overcome with righteous fervor." Or the Wizard's "You occasionally find yourself desiring a good book."

The Ranger past life feat starts out with the same "You occasionally find" but takes it in a slightly different direction.

Hmm.... my Barbarian is getting the irresistable urge to smash boxes with his head. Sounds like your feat is bugged.

Unfortunately, the game will not allow him to do so (weapons and fists just don't cut it, you know?), and it's making him really REALLY ANGRY!

Which, on second thought, works out pretty well for him, actually...

I find them all the time.

Well not animals per se.
More like 120 Hp rogues and no fort drow sorcs.
Same thing, really.
