everyone is complaining about bound to character items

but the devs legitimately don't want the economy destroyed by crafted versions of hard to find drops

I have the solution:

make crafting XP account wide, but the items created still bound to character

that way crafted items aren't in the economy but each PLAYER only needs to level it once

Well what you have there is a 1000 pound solution to a two pence problem . Make them bound to account , job done . You could even spruce it up and make them bound to account on aquire , bind to charachter on equip .
