Do Axeblock, Hammerblock, and Spearblock only work against non magical weapons? and why the 2 unnamed forms of damage appear on Character sheet?

Thanks

They work against magical weapons as well.

If what you're asking is why the entry for, for example, axeblock appears as 'damage reduction 5/piercing, bludgeoning', that means that piercing and bludgeoning damage overcome it. Stuff to the right of the slash are what is needed to overcome the damage reduction.

They work against magical weapons as well, but will only reduce the non-magical part of the damage - basically, the part of the pain that comes from being hit in the face with the blade of an axe for Axeblock and so on.

X-block works on any weapon that deals X type of damage, regardless if the weapon is magical or not.

And by "unnamed", do you mean the X/- type of damage reduction? If you see two of them, there are some possibilities:

- You have intrinsic X/- DR (e.g. Barbarian DR) and are wearing Adamantine armour (which give 1-3/- DR) or specific armour (e.g. FullPlate of Giants, which give 5/- DR)

- You have intrinsic X/- DR or are wearing armour that gives X/- DR, but you also have a X/- DR buff up (e.g. Ironskin Chant, Sentinel's Bulwark airship buff).

Note that these DR do not stack--at least, the numbers don't. There is only one circumstance which this is not true: Warforged Favored Soul (Lord of Blades). Their DR capstone stacks with the DR from Adamantine Body and/or Warforged Damage Reduction.
