I am a noob to the game, but like it very much. I was looking at the 3 month special and maybe 5k DDO points on top to get a few things.
I have only one problem it seems :(
I am based in South Africa and see no options other than US/Canada/Mexico when entering billing address. Now if its a case of being on the wrong server, why did the game tell me to start with Orien :? I now have 2 characters, the first a lvl10 ranger who I am pretty happy with and don't want to loose.
Please help me,anyone !

Hi,

Go to http://my-i-p.com/ and post the number you see there. I think somehow the server thinks you come from US/Canada/Mexico :)

Doing a IP lookup on my address shows country to be correct, South Africa.

Check if the info about adding your credit card in this thread helps: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=203387

If not, you can try to either call them (see number at the bottom of that thread), or send an account support ticket (from the DDO support website).

I had the same problem with Finland:

Solution for me was this:

You can edit your personal information, and credit card is part of your information.
Click save and then when you chose a payment option you should tick the box where it says something like: Use my current credit card.

The country will appear to be "----------" but it will work.

For less than a year's subscription fees you could buy all the VIP perks that are in the store outright and own them for the life of this game, instead of continuing to pay extra to rent them year after year.

I was thinking about that, but also consider any futur p2p packs that come out will be available instantly and also I tend to get taken away by other games, so maybe in a year I will be playing something else.

Well going to go with the 3 month option and see how it goes from there.
