Well the first stage of growth is acceptance, so I'll out right say it.

I'm new here.

Basically I've been trying out the various builds over the past couple of days and I found a nice wizard build to settle down with. This is fine and dandy, but every one is occasionally over come with the boost of blood lust and well my wizzy just doesn't fulfill the roll. So I come to you in asking for some links to your preferred max DPS builds. I've looked around my self but just can't come to any conclusions. I just wanna kill some ****. Fast.

tldr: Builds that kill **** fast, in this here thread.

I've only spent a *little* time playing around with it, but... Yeah, you're gonna hit things hard with this. :)

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately I don't have access to the Half-Orc race, do you think I should roll a dwarf instead?

THF Dwarf Barb with a cleric hireling will walk through the first 10 levels faster than you can PUG. You could go TWF if you have 32pt builds (wouldn't recommend it for 28pt)

I went human for a feat but you could splash a couple of fighter levels to get that.

See Shades Definitive guide in the Barbarian Prefix advanced search option new forum thread location system that is sub optimal.

Yes, yes I do.

As the above poster mentioned, Dwarf THF Barbarian for the win! Especially if you are new and learning the game, as it isn't as gear-intensive as some other max DPS builds. Pure Barbarian gives you a feel for the class and Dwarves get enhancements to increase their damage with Greataxes. Shade's MAX DPS build is currently for Half-orcs, but once upon a time it was intended for Dwarves, so yes, Dwarves are still a VERY viable choice.

If you fall in love with the build, you can always True Reincarnate into a Half Orc Barbarian once you reach 20 and be super-strong.

Just read through the post, follow the build, but instead of Warforged or Half-Orc go Dwarf and for the Race-specific enhancements choose the Dwarf axe enhancements.

I think you're all set, have fun and happy smashing! :)

UPDATE:
Here is the link for the Dwarf-specific build: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=116814 (starts in post 3)
But I recommend reading the above post as well, as it has good information in it (tactics, advice, etc.)

Quoted for Truth. This is good advice if what you want to do is just hit things really hard. I'm leveling a dwarven, THF barbarian using Shade's barbarian guide (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=296816) and it's a blast.

I personally love my Dwarf Tempest Ranger/Fighter when I need a break from babysitting with my Cleric and just want to go medieval on someone's a**. Sometimes I even bring a cleric hireling along when I'm in a hurry.

Thanks for the help everyone, trying out the first build posted. It's fighter orientated but this alone gives me the faster pace I was looking for.
