I've been playing for close to a year now.
I truly love this game.
My suggestion is:

ROGUES: To incorporate them, enhance the game experience;

Offer a clickie at the START of adventures, Full Trapping Optionals On/Off
It adds the full Trappings bonuses for the adventures & the effects of the trappings, OR it conversely REMOVES them.

The catch is - TAX the Experience for having them active 35% total EXP reward increase.

Selecting them OFF 35% LOSS to total adventure XP reward.

This gives people the luxury of NOT having to wait all day for a rogue to request join an LFM

I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is you're suggesting.

You select a difficulty, and then SELECT active traps (or not)
then click O.K.

splashing a few rogue levels allready opens too many 'doors' - as in : practically any lock in game anyway.
no locked chest in this game contains anything really important, but of course the pure pleasure of opening them is important to the rogue, and ought to be more exclusive, not less.

Can we also have a toggle for locked/unlocked doors and chests?

Or a toggle for automatically revealed/hidden secret doors?

Or a toggle for active/passive mobs?

Or a toggle for all runes to be whatever your best stat is?

Or just an option to open a quest and click "complete and gimme favor!" with no XP awarded.

edit: Sorry, just feeling a little snarky this morning.

But seriously, I think your suggestion would further exclude rogues from groups, rather than make them more desirable.

What a great suggestion (sarcasm)

here's a better one:
Put in the ddo store : Easy button, 1000 tp.

Click this button to win ddo.

Meh. This isn't an old topic, this is the standard drivel we keep seeing the game hurtle towards.

You can't offer built in cheats into a game and expect players to still find the game fun and challenging, it doesn't work that way. Once you offer the ability to cheat, the desire to play the game is removed, as it's no longer a game of skill nor chance - it's just a number game where you watch the xp bar go up. Boring.

Really have to agree with Axer on this one.

You want a button to turn off traps? That's stupid. And lazy. Go run casual. Then the traps simply aren't a threat.

If you run a quest with nasty traps, bring a rogue, die through them, or learn to avoid them. No dungeon with traps is impossible to complete without a rogue.

/not signed doesn't even begin to cover how against this ridiculous suggestion I am.
