First off go either 5 or 7 levels of rogue - The PRE dont give much anyhow (compared to the price), and you get no SA at lvl 6.

Because you only get extra sneak attack on the odd levels (1,3,5,7...) So six levels of rogue don't offer much aside from 2 extra skill points at the cost of 2 hit points and a few spell points over 5 levels of rogue, and it offers a lot less then 7 levels. Same goes for ranger. 13th/14th level doesn't give much to the ranger well I guess 14th level lets you cast Freedom of Movement.

Also if you're only going for rogue skills than human ranger should give you enough points to keep UMD/Open Lock/Disable Device/Search and Spot (8 points needed, rangers get 6 and human gets 1 plus any INT modifier) maxed after a single level of rogue.

You could even cut a couple points from INT, and stagger your Rogue levels to help catch up ranks after ranger levels. Somthing like 1st level rogue, 6 levels ranger, 2-3 levels rogue, 6 levels ranger, then finish out rogue. You'll have to neglect a skill or rotate between two skills that don't get a rank on your ranger levels, but you can make those ranks up with the extra rogue skill points when you level Rogue.

I'm a little confused why you put a build point and an enhancement on Wisdom.

Weapon Focus and Extend Spell seem like wasted feats to me. I imagine you're planning to use Scimitars. I'd dump at least Extend for Exotic Khopesh. Weapon Focus' +1 to hit I think would be better served with a class that adds BAB.

I've been thinking about a rogue/ranger split for a bit. Know theres a couple on the forums. Has to be. Tempest2 with sneak attacks.

I'd probably go rogue7/ranger12/and either monk or fighter1. Start rogue then get Temp1, go rogue for a couple levels, take fighter or monk for the feat/fighter toughness/or AC, get Temp2, then finish with rogue.

Stats

STR 18 +5 levels +1 human for 24 + item/tomes shooting for 32
DEX 14 +2 from Ranger Dex I&II to fill TempestII
CON 15 +1 human for 16
INT 10 you can use items to increase ability and skill to cover locks or traps or searching and spotting
WIS 8
CHA 8

if you wanted more HP's you could go 16 STR and 17 Con

If you went monk for the AC I'd go 16 STR and 14 Wis

Either way your strength gets right around 30 so you should be able to hit and damage stuff, you should have decent hit points, and with monk that could, with the right gear, get fairly almost usable AC out of your stats.

7 levels of Rogue provides like 4d6 to sneak attack damage plus Rogue Haste and sneak attack/flanking enhancements

12 levels of Ranger gives Tempest2/Rams Might/Barkskin

Then Fighter for Fighter Toughness/BAB/bonus feat

OR

Monk gives AC and bonus feat that would be Toughness and they up all your saves.

Rgr14 gives Freedom of Movement.

Rog6 gives Assassin I. Which looks to me like it gives a D6 SA damage.

I didn't even think about AssassinI. How would the enhancements break down with like 14 points going to Assassin?
