This tip that shows up on splash screens erronesouly says that lesser restoration removes ability damage. It should say that it removes SOME ability damage.

Wish more people read the tips.
If people had read Tip #71 for example, they wouldn't have changed dice to ranges. That should have been tip #1, just like in the books.
And if we are typo hunting the screen of devils of shavarath says invastion instead of invasion.

Saying that it removes "ability damage, ray of exhaustion, touch of idiocy..." implies that it removes all ability damage as it removes "all" of ray of exhaustion and touch of idiocy.

actually it doesnt imply that.... your assuming it does :p

take it at face value, exactly what it says.

Lesser restoration removes ability damage. and it does.

I'm assuming? You think I'm assuming that not listing that it can remove as little as 1 pt of ability damage might be misleading to froobs/newbs/noobs?

Let us think on the matter. The people who might actually read those tips (listed above) are the people who whined and moaned so much that air jets (air jets!) were added to Coalescence Chamber. Do you really think they have the mental fortitude to read, "removes ability damage," and understand that it doesn't necessarily remove all of it? And of course this will crop up when they are fighting wraiths, and after having to drink 50 lesser resto pots for 1 undead quest they will whine and moan until "wraith jets" are added to those quests.

Read what it says, Not what it Doesn't Say.
