I know that U5 still has problems, and that U6 hasn't reached the live servers yet, but I also know that turbine works at least 2 updates ahead of what we have on the live servers.

Here's the thing though, Update 5 had a ton of bugs, and I mean a ton, guess what, we caught most of them on lamannia, however you (turbine) didn't have enough time to fix many of these issues, and instead had to patch the live servers, and not just once, heck not even twice. Many of the issues still persist, and will still continue to persist after Monday's patch.

Close down the lamannia server to free to plays, make us sign a NDA or whatever, but give your paying customers that are willing to put forth the time and effort to test these things the opportunity to do so, 2-3 weeks before an update hits the live servers obviously isn't enough for the bugs we catch, and the concerns that we express.

And if Update 7 has half orc, that alone has the chance to introduce many bugs, some graphic only, some not. Not to mention the many changes to enhancements and anything else you may be keeping under wraps from us.

Actually. Lam is only a preview server. Mournlands is the test server, and I believe you do have to sign an NDA for that. Plain and simple, by the time it hits Lam, it is making it to the live server.

As far as the closing it to F2P, exactly what is the reasoning behind that? They may be just as willing/able to find and troubkeshoot bugs as any VIP.

The closing it to F2P was if they wanted to make it a "closed" server if they were going to make us sign an NDA, as they did when Unlimited was on lamannia for quite a long time.

Assuming Mournlands is actually active right now...
