Suggestion: - Vet 6 Account Upgrade
Add a veteran account upgrade which allows new characters to begin at level six. This does not need to replace the level four veteran reward/upgrade; it could be an additional upgrade. This option should be available via both favor rewards and the DDO store.

This gives players:
1. The fun of creating new characters and immediately testing out that new prestige enhancement they've been curious about without having to level all the way from levels one to six, or even four to six. For example- I want to try out Pale Master and Arcane Archer. I'd roll up new characters in a heartbeat with a Vet 6 option. With current veteran status, I'm not willing to level from 4 to 6 just to try these out.
2. The ability to get new characters to high level content faster without having to grind as much.
3. A better sense of how new characters will really play, before they invest a lot of time in leveling them up. Vet characters starting at level four are very similar across classes. At level four, wizards with decent strength can melee almost as well as fighters, wizards & sorcerers have relatively minor differences, etc. Class & build differences become much more apparent at level six.

This gives Turbine:
1. Another favor reward - incentive for players to spend more time playing older content to earn the reward.
2. Revenue from a new account upgrade sold in the DDO store.
3. Revenue from additional character slots sold as players build more new characters under Vet 6.

So the 60 or so minutes to go from 4~6 is a problem.

Really why not just go to 20?

(nice counter point....so good i had to repeat it....)

Yeah, you're right.

Instead we should just remove the current veteran feature. Nobody uses it since it only takes 20 minutes to level from 1 to 4 anyway.

Also, favored souls and 32 point builds shouldn't be in the DDO store either since it only takes ~two weeks to earn them through favor.

I have to not sign this one. Starting at 4 is pretty nice, especially for caster and Rogues. Starting at 6 is 30% of the level cap, that seems a bit much even to my casual playing noobness.

Now this, I would agree with.

Not XP wise, but I actually enjoyed starting at 4, it gave me to try out different builds/classes before making any investment on getting them further.
